After I updated my phone 2 with OS 2.5.5 recently, feels like charging speed has decreased, also mobile heats a bit more. Does anyone facing the same ?

After the 2.5.5 update on Phone 2 I had, for the very first time, noticed lag and heating while playing heavy game efootball2024 online. Temperature would reach 40C easily and there were performance drops. Everything else had improved except gaming performance. Today by chance I happened to open RAM booster and was surprised to see it was on 2GB boost instead of no boost. I immediately switched to no boost and then played the game which went very smooth and thermals were normal once again.
My earlier device Realme GT Neo 2 had seen performance drop when I boosted the RAM which came back to normal when I disabled it.
My point is that RAM boost should be off by default instead of 2GB boost which I found on my device.
shamsher203 check RAM booster in system settings and if it is enabled disable it. Then check if there is heating or not.

Excellent update and veru useful to nothing users. I don’t understand why they have missed a basic widget of Auto Brightness (enable/disable) from quick view.
The synchronization of contacts in the VW Passat B8 car (Seat and Skoda too) still does not work, the bluetooth connection works, but the contacts do not work.
Hey can u please add a volume bar in widgets so we don’t need press the volume button again and again thanku .
TejasMaisuriya when we click picture especially in front camera it ll take time for processing we have to wait a bit then it saved the picture otherwise not and this is only bug i have got as of now
That’s one of the image processing bugs that have been around for months, and sadly they haven’t been resolved yet, although they finally improved the camera image quality.
Let’s hope that they finally resolve the last camera app issues in the next update.

After the update, I have a persistent alarm icon in my status bar even though I have no alarms turned on.
Plus, I used to be able to jump into the clock app by tapping the time in the notification bar, now tapping it does nothing.
Personal opinion, RAM booster should’ve been turned off by default instead of automatically setting to 2gb.
jacobsyrian It was disabled for me by default.
I turned off RAM booster and now my phone does not stutter and heat is also under control.
After updating to nothing 2.5.5 on nothing phone 2 the battery drain is too much and the device now takes more than 1 hour and 10 min to get it charged from (20 to 100 percent) almost all the nothing phone 2 users are facing this issue I hope nothing looks into it.
