I too got the mail and I am also totally disappointed. I wanted to gift this product to my brother who is leaving my country on 12th of this month. I thought the product would be delivered by then. @Carl didn’t expect this from @changename. There are just 500 investors world wide. You have supplied more to the influencers even before launch. I know that there are logistics issues, but all the investors didn’t buy though. What’s the point in early access? Also we bought the product from NOTHING INDIA.

As @vikas said this is not a hatred post. I love NOTHING. But this time I’m not happy with this. Sorry.

David

Yes, the issue seems to be resolved now. I checked and it’s working fine now.

“ The early access sale is to provide our supporters with a priority slot for them to get their hands on Nothing ear (1) and we will strive to work towards honoring the promise where you get your hands on ear (1) before it is delivered to open sale customers.
Just received this from the nothing support team. Seems like they only planned on priority sales from the start. We were misled calling it early access.

    RUTHVIK

For any brand at this stage, such delays are to be expected. However, as @changename has hyped itself up as a top-notch player – it is also expected to deliver like one. Otherwise, the marketing could backfire.

This is pretty disappointing. I hope they can compensate for this dip.

There’s one more thing to mention. I have ordered the product from NOTHING INDIA website. But the transaction happened to be international. 3% charges and for some above 4 has been charged. In the statement it says NOTHING hongkong. If anyone faced the same issue please mention. This needs to be noted by the company. Although it is okay for me. Not all will be same.

Sorry, but that’s not true. Here is what they wrote on the email they sent us before the day before the launch. “As a valued investor, we would like to offer you the opportunity to get your hands on ear (1) before sales open to the general public on 17 August.”

It’s clear. We need to receive them before august 17.

      WilliamZimmer

Yes, what I meant to say was maybe internally they planned on giving us priority sales and that we were misled. Also they called it early access and not priority sales. So they’re supposed to deliver.
This is even past the already huge time-frame, “ships within 2 weeks” they mentioned on the order. 2 weeks was a long time and we were hoping that it wouldn’t take that long. Now its more than 2 weeks.

      Hi there!

What are the latest infos we were provided concerning shipment ? Got mine on July 27th and haven’t heard from them ever since.

      Cheers

RUTHVIK Many thanks for sharing the official email with the thread, even if they are not great news.

gaultier According to what was shown before, the shipment is expected “by” August 15 in India.

I would love to know if Investors outside India will get a similar period or if the shipping window will be different as I don’t think that was mentioned yet.

And for those who didn’t have the opportunity to order the ear (1) before, this afternoon there’s going to be another Limited Drop.

This time it’ll be here and it starts at 17:00 CEST (16:00 BST). Hopefully, it’s going to be smoother than the previous ones, but I am expecting yet another “sold out” sign in a few minutes (seconds?).

The more steps we live during these weeks, the more curious I am about the Open Sales on August 17.

Thanks for your response. It seems you are actively involved in the Community 🙂 Any reason for that ?

As for me I’m from France, i’ll let you guys know if anything comes up.

        Cheers!

I had the opportunity to follow the Limited Drop on KITH a few minutes ago. I was able to see the option to add the ear (1) to my cart (albeit at 110€ instead of the 99,99€), as you can see on the screenshot that I took precisely at 16:00. Not even one minute later, they were sold out.

gaultier That would be quite useful and appreciated, since I imagine that when there’s any movement for a customer in France, it should be identical to the rest of Europe.

About your question, hah, the Community is lucky there are some active members, I am just one of them. Every day when I visit, there’s always some sort of help or interesting post doing the rounds, I just do a tiny part with whatever I can. 🤓

Not showing anything till now in my credit card unbilled statement…someone mentioned in this thread that he was charged 3%

Given that 2 weeks (since order) are expiring today, did anyone receive any incremental update on shipment / delivery?

arpan2308 RUTHVIK Sorry if it was mentioned before, but do you know what method is going to be used for the actual shipping?

I am asking this because on the FAQ it’s written that “Standard delivery times are usually 3-5 days”, so I do hope that at least you (members who are already waiting) and us (members who are waiting for the open sales) can get them in less than a week.

              Cheetosdust

I think that 3-5days in FAQs is more of a generic answer. May be applicable on open sales.

For investor early access, the order confirmation page clearly says “standard shipping within 2weeks” with no option to change it. Given that the investors are all across the world (ex-US), Nothing must be arranging imports of Ear(1) to multiple countries. Cant even imagine how tedious that task is. India anyways is infamous for customs etc. As an investor, atleast I am totally fine with any delivery date, as long as the actual open sale customer don’t face such delays. In my opinion, Nothing should focus on making open sale customer experience like nothing as before (in a positive way i meant 😛 )

3-5 days is the shipping time not the preparation time.

“Shipped within 2 weeks” is the preparation time for us imo but we would still have 3-5 days shipping.

And yes I do agree that I hope the preparation time will be much shorter then

arpan2308 As an investor, atleast I am totally fine with any delivery date, as long as the actual open sale customer don’t face such delays. In my opinion, Nothing should focus on making open sale customer experience like nothing as before (in a positive way i meant 😛 )

This was my concern, as a fellow Investor, I am concerned about our experience potentially being reflective of that which general consumers will have. I feel that further conversation of this investor discussion should occur over on the Investor page.

August 15th as a shipping date as mentioned above is frustrating due to it being outside of the stated 2 weeks shipping. Had shipping been an additional charge I would be fighting this point more but given that it was free, I am more forgiving.

I would have appreciated more transparency in the experience so far (I.e. clarified shipping dates, status updates, etc.) However, I am only hopeful that our experience will not be that of the open sales.

                  Dylan_B

I think it is just some initial oiling of the system. Open sale customers will mostly get a better experience🤞

                  Your transparency reference 😂😂
