it works with any app that posts notification with a progress bar, the progress has to be “determinate” just like when you’re downloading something from the Play Store.
Currently it doesn’t work with media players but I already found a way to make it compatible so you can visualize the progress of the song or podcast on the back of your phone

davarpe I just finished tinkering with my homescreen yet again. It seems like I’ve been rearranging and redesigning mine every 5 mins 
This is the last major release of the year. I focused on some QoL improvements, squashing as many bugs as I (and @SebiAi) could find, and adding some long-awaited features. I also made a FAQ section.
I’ll be taking a little break from this project as I finish my studies, but I’ll still provide minor releases during this period.
The next major update will focus on improving Glyphify Studio, and you can expect it around January 2025.

I would very much prefer if Nothing would implement this little but important feature if not in the next update then in the Nothing OS 3.0.
DEVS take not please, basicly just enable us to put apps left to the main home screen. Enable us to change the basic/main home screen

While setting up your device for the 1st time make sure to set it up as a new device and don’t copy any back-up especially if you are coming from a different manufacturer. Sometimes some manufacturers add or remove some features which aren’t compatible with other devices so resorting back up can cause some issue.
I had a Motorola device where I could set “lockscreen message" and when I set up a OnePlus device it copied the back-up and that lockscreen message also restored agong side other settings, but on OnePlus devices there’s no option to remove or edit. So only option to remove the text was to do factory reset.

Can we please send this to someone in nothing management cause most people buy a new phone every 3 years now and the upgrades would be significant and well integrated because they wouldn’t rushed.

In the end this is one of the major downsides of wireless charging.
All things being equal, wireless charging isn’t inherently more harmful to your device or its battery than wired charging. That said, charging your device wirelessly generates more heat, which is bad for battery longevity. Samsung, Google, and other manufacturers sell wireless chargers with a built-in cooling fan to alleviate heating issues.

How about dropping the numbering convention completely (phone 1, 2, 3…) to allow Nothing some space to focus on making the phones they want to make and not worry about making the next phone notably ‘better’ than the last one, and at the same time ensuring the general public (who want the latest phone simply because it is new) can continue to differentiate easily?
How about naming the ‘main series’ phones after the seasons they are released in (like fashion ranges are), i.e. 24 (a/w), 24 (s/s), 25 (a/w), etc? So you might say, for example, that the phone (2) becomes the phone 23 (s/s), and a ‘(2) plus’ would be the phone 24 (a/w), which might look similar but has some upgraded components and is available in a range of different colours, materials and finishes.
Would keep Nothing in the news with announcements of the latest variants or hardware tweaks.
I think that it’s a good thing that they have held off on bringing the phone (3) this year because it allows them to bring in more improvements.
These days many popular companies launch new phones which have very little improvements from the previous generation.
I am also looking for the same, hope nothing adds the feature on future updates!
