I could bear with not having glyphs on the phone 3, but that camera placement is honestly awful. Losing the glyphs was painful enough, but this design kinda seems like a bit of a spit in the face to most nothing fans. The specs are alright, I’ll give them that, but in all honesty, as a phone 2 user, I can’t justify upgrading to the phone 3.

The headphones on the other hand look quite nice, but I don’t think I will buy them, because I don’t want to miss out on functionality diento not having the phone 3.

TLDR:

Phone (3) - tragically ugly, glyphs will be missed, will not buy, and am v. disappointed. 😞

Headphone (1) - Look nice, but not buying as will not be able to use all features. 😑

SamAdebayo Wenn die CPU die Funktionen des Kopfhörer nicht unterstützen kann, kann man doch bestimmt mit der Software des Telefon oder der Nothing XApp was machen, damit man den vollen Umfang aller Funktionen nutzen kann. Oder wie siehst du das??

Rob ⚡️ congratulations on your strong launch! The design and features of the Nothing Phone 3 are awesome! Nothing Headphone 1 is still growing on me.
There is a question I’d like to ask though. Why does the base NP 3 model (12/256GB) cost 799€ in Germany for example but it’s priced at a whopping 849€ in Portugal, a country with much inferior purchasing power and much lower salaries. It’s not the additional 2% in VAT that makes it 50€ more expensive…
Could you please explain this difference? Thanks in advance for your help!

Not gonna lie, this is disappointing. The Phone 3 is overpriced for no reason, with not even the latest hardware, no real glyph anymore!! the only feature that made me fall for Nothing Phone 1 in the first place. Inspired by minimal, bold, standout design, and now it’s just another phone trying to look different but feeling empty. SD 8s Gen 4? Not even the best specs. You’ve basically removed the soul of the phone. Sad to say this, @Carl , @Rob ⚡️ , @adbo !! This could be the beginning of the end if you don’t listen to real users. You killed the one thing that made Nothing… something.

Seems like Nothing is only interested in a series coz only the phones of a series are bit worthy of price weather it’s 2a or 3a but so called Flagship are just Flagship in terms of price not in performance.

Phone 3 is gonna be flop just like Phone 2 and reason will be the same Phone 2 was Overpriced & this is Over Overpriced. & Then the nothing team will overlook Phone 3 in terms of support just like Phone 2 by saying it has less users & we need large userbase to implement updates.

It’s been 2 years & still Phone 2 users are waiting for an update which can make the camera be called Flagship level & if someone has another opinion that camera is excellent then just run a poll & you’ll see how dissatisfied users are specially for Phone 2. Purchasing Phone 2 turned out to be biggest mistake of us.

Disappointment Disappointment is an understatement for what I have to say, I saw this leaked design days before the launch and I wanted to think that it was still fake that there was no possibility of it being in the final product, I was waiting for the live show with great anticipation and ended up watching this horrible thing that has (nothing) to do with ANYTHING that was previously released. Right now I’m undecided if I end up buying this to keep the system, which is very good and I like it, or if I buy a phone 2 or a phone 3a pro, although I really liked the headphones. In short, completely disappointed.

ApX666 goodbye. OnePlus was great a few years ago when their software was genius. Now it’s plain trash, just like Xiaomi and other Chinese phones filled with bloatware and useless “features”.

I really hoped the leaks would turn out to be false, too bad they were real indeed. For me the new Phone (3) simply doesn’t light up any kind of spark. Phone (1) was fresh and unique but a bit unpolished, (2) was pretty much love on first sight, (2a) was interesting and (3a) was a great evolution from the former. But the new (3)? I don’t know, I feel like it is missing something, the glyphs maybe.

Personally I think the dot-matrix is a great idea, but fully replacing the funky glyph interface by a tiny dot matrix system was a failure IMHO. Maybe combining both would have been great.

I will stick with my Phone (2) for now.

Nothing very good with leaks it’s not an issue everything is for marketing. Older times they taken time and effort into the designs and concepts now they are busy with other products 😞

Only thing I have in mind, have you forgot to give discount on MRP written on box? I guess it can be the reason because 80k?

Being a genuine fan its a simple question i have Since you are making the device in India still I can’t understand this price at all.

Or is it a marketing tactic to give a inflated price and later on when all will be buzzing around the conversation it will be corrected? We say in Hindi “Naam kharaab hua par naam toh hua”

Phone 3 and Headphone 1 both are really good. Everything looks amazing. I am waiting for a detailed feedback on camera and even if they are super super amazing then also 75k for a phone (after bank discount) is way too much…But, headphone 1 can really be a game changer for Nothing in the audio category.

I don‘t wanna hate the design of phone 3 too much, I do think it does look interesting, BUT the decision to replace the glyph lights, the unique good-looking feature made for being more focused and less distracted by the screen, with another small screen like many companies did before, is so hurtful. What is the point of looking at another screen which is not only smaller but also less useful than the real display AND you‘re loosing the standout feature as well as the clean look. Very sad they made this decision, probably buying phone 2 now ):

i use np2 and 1 for the transparent design and glyph lights for reason.

thats why i laugh coz we’ve waiting for 2 years for the NP3 that what we are expecting is
