This is your chance to try out the newest features from Nothing OS alongside Android 16 before the official release. **Here’s what you can expect with Nothing OS 4.0 Beta:** ‎ **📱 Phone (3)** Phone (3) introduces the AI usage dashboard in Essential Space, giving you greater transparency over large model activity. This update also includes general improvements and bug fixes, with better lock screen and AOD performance, optimised brightness behaviour, enhanced camera stability, improved Bluetooth stability and compatibility, stronger Wi-Fi connectivity and network stability, and overall system stability enhancements. ‎ **📱 Phone (2), (2a) & (2a) Plus** These devices now include the “Stretch” Camera preset, created with photographer [Jordan Hemingway](https://nothing.community/d/37673), which enhances photos with rich shadows and extended highlights for a more distinctive look directly from the Camera app. In addition, this update brings system-level app optimisation to improve startup speed, available under ***Settings > Apps > App optimisation***. ‎ **Other new features** 🟢 Pop-up View with two floating icons for faster switching ⏱️ Two new lock screen clock faces ↔️ 2×2 Quick Settings tile support 🌑 Extra Dark Mode *(**Settings > Display > Dark theme > Extra dark mode**)* ### ***‎-*** ### **✨ Essential Apps & Playground** Essential Apps are now live. FelixFelicis turn off wifi and be on your cellular network after that just go to settings>Apps>see all – Find Nothing Beta Hub clear data and clear cache then go back in settings>system>Nothing Beta Hub you now have an option to join program just do it and update your device👍🏻 it will surely work!

I have using Nothing OS 4.0 for hours in my Nothing Phone 2a Plus and honestly, there’s nothing new in this “new” version for the OS. I’m very disappointed with this “new” update. Yes, I know that is a beta and that’s okay, but, I haven’t seen new improvements or additions. For example, the new system of app optimization didn’t work how I expected or there’s no new animations or new icons in the status bar/control center. I hope that they can add other new functions or new things for the system. That’s all for now.

VinodKumarNandem if you aren’t aware, you need a screen lock for the fingerprint unlock feature to be used.

If you have one steady set, try and re add it.

Rob ⚡️ Had successfully got the beta update, I would like to suggest one thing that please make extra dark mode in every possible area, I could only see at certain spaces only like settings home screen edging, it would be really good if u could bring in notification bar and mostly all possible spaces.
