Nothing Phone Development/Update Priorities

There are many bugs and issues ongoing with the Nothing Phone 2 and many threads are pending without any resolution. People are not mad to pressurized on company they all seriously facing something, if you don't have team then recruit more developers. It's not just one or two people facing these problems, there are multiple issues being reported such as camera, battery, optimization, heating, and many more. If major bugs can't be fixed, at least try to fix the minor ones. I've been patiently waiting for so long, hoping for a fix, but nothing has not resolved any single thing and the problem seems to worsen every day. There hasn't been any update to fix basic bugs since Android 14. New features can come later, but please prioritize fixing the camera and battery issues at least. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 First company forum i'm seeing people are begging daily to fix there issue , this is what company is building the trust .

In community, people are upset about late updates on their flagship phone 2. I don’t really know the actual reason but if I have to take some guesses i can say.

I think 2a customer base is bigger than phone 2 and they are prioritising the larger group.
Maybe they don’t have enough confidence on new updates so they push it to flagship phones after fixing bugs from feedback of 2a customer.
Maybe they are having some issue with managing updates.

But overall I am ok if features are late 2-3 months. Just make sure security patches are on time.

Only person working in nothing can answer this accurately.

But I am curious what community think the real reason could be.

aekit Yes, phone2 is the best flagship phone in the world. Because I don’t have confidence in the update, so try it on phone2a first. Do you believe it yourself?

User_sAXQvzkCC6 how many brands launched updates this often? for example Nothing doesnt have any phone that still has android 13. Android 15 is on the corner but there are brands still didnt provide android 14 to their phones like xiaomi.

irfun4ever don’t demote yourself too make it look good for nothing, let’s see iPhone have better update cycle fine , Samsung gives update every month’s even mid range phones , OnePlus does better in differentiating flagship phones and mid range phone pretty good by giving better updates to R and flagship series

I regret buying nothing phone 2. Even though it’s the second released and flagship phone still there is no new update. Developer and the nothing team is testing everything on phone 2 (a), which makes the phone 2 user feel neglected.

Phone 2 should get the first update as it is the flagship phone or nothing but it seems like they have forgotten about the phone 2.

Using nothing phone 2 their flagship and yet not getting feature updates…last update was in april…after the release of their phone 2A they are not giving feature update to their flagship.

Why nothing is doing so…I can’t understand…they should improve the camera quality of phone 2 as well.

Their marketing strategy was to grab customers under the title they are competing with iphone in terms of camera and update policy…now nothings seems to be working out…

And people start talking about how small they are…so hier new people for R&D…we incorporated our trust in your company invested around 600$ since I have (12+512) and now getting neglected…recently bought nothing ear 2024 edition they are really impressive sounding earbuds…but plz treat your flagship phone like one🥲

As I always said mistakes has been made to choosing Nothing over other brand especially for picking phone 2 with this price..but can’t do much rn bcz u can’t change device when you bought a 40k budget

I think nothing software team unable to manage multiple product at same time, focus only in phone 2a next focus on CMF phone 1.Even a turtle is not as slow as Nothing software team.
