I’ve bought Cmf buds pro 2 through Flipkart, received the product today and when I paired it for the first time, it’s showing a different device name [Edward’s CMF] pretty sure it’s not normal and it’s not my name too

    • Same here brother

    • Yesterday, I visited an authorized Nothing service center to fix a minor issue with my Nothing Phone (2A). The service was great, and the problem was resolved. However, the experience got me thinking about a feature that is no one talking about- a Service Mode(like the one Samsung offers.) Here’s what happened: My phone had a minor hardware issue (possibly moisture or dust in the camera). I added the camera shortcut to the lock screen while keeping the phone locked. But still the technician can attend calls. Imagine it’s a software issue or you need to give the phone unlocked? It made me realize how qood is to have a service mode/ repair mode in phones. Imo it is a feature that need to be standardized in every single smartphone. It’s okay to take good ideas from others if it improves the user experience.

    • No idea brother, mine is not working

    • First of all am not a nothing ear product user.

Before the NOS 3.0 if I connect my tws to my phone I can see the picture of my tws on that big square blutooth tile on quick settings. Now it’s just a 🎧 . I know the developers removed it and now it’s only works to nothing ear products… but I hope they will bring it back.

      • I installed the nothing gallery app from playstore. It works fine but if I open the photos from camera app it is not working. I disabled the Google photos app , forced stoped it but the nothing gallery is not opening. I restarted the phone re installed the gallery app but no change

        • First off, I love the smooth and minimal experience of Nothing OS 3.0. It feels polished, but there are areas where it could improve. I’ve tried using the feedback option in the settings app, but the responses were generic instructions like restarting or updating the device. So, I decided to share my detailed thoughts here.

          1. Lock Screen Customization

I wish we could adjust the size and color of the clock on the lock screen. It feels like an obvious feature to include, even if some might call it an iOS copy.

Widgets on the lock screen need a design refresh, especially large ones like the weather or pedometer. Most users just want basic info like 16°C—not a giant widget.

Special Mention: Lock screen customization is incredibly smooth, and I love it.

After finishing lock screen edits, why are we taken to the home screen instead of back to the lock screen? It’s a small annoying for me

          2. Quick Settings

The quick settings look great, but…

Inconsistent Colors: Flashlight uses red, but everything else uses white in dark mode and white in white mode. Why not use red for all light-related toggles like Glyph or Glyph Torch? The red stands out nicely.

Two-Swipe Setup: Accessing certain quick settings requires multiple swipes, one swipe for bringing and one for enlarging and a vertical of I set the quick settings in the second page . Simplifying this process would be a big improvement.

Music Player Design: The music player on the first swipe looks unbalanced and lacks symmetry.

My Suggestion: Separate notifications and quick settings. Use transparency for notifications (since they’re temporary) and solid colors for quick settings (as they’re more permanent). This might not align with the current design aesthetic, but it’s worth considering.

Brightness Slider: A smaller, horizontal brightness slider—(same size like the silent-vibration - sound on) —would be better for users with smaller hands. Additionally, the slider’s current behavior is inconvenient: touching anywhere adjusts brightness directly. Swiping-only controls brightness (like iOS or HyperOS) is better . Also add volume control to quick settings I don’t want click every time the side buttons.

          Bugs and Issues

Here are some lags and inconsistencies I’ve noticed:

Camera Lag: The camera app lags briefly when opened but becomes smooth after a few seconds.

Haptic Motor: Haptic feedback is inconsistent across apps and OS , especially in Instagram, where it feels flat and loses its precise feel.

Notification Lag: When a notification arrives while opening quick settings, it can lag or stutter.

Recent Apps: Horizontal mode in the recent apps menu lags, especially with games or when switching to pop-up view.

Swipe Gestures: The “swipe to switch apps” feature often lags and sometimes brings me back to the most last app on recent app list.
