MadOne yea i’m Batman lol
vovan-v yeah you’re right.
HOWARDNIKHIL_TechWizard_ not exactly, See the video about AI released in Youtube by Nothing, they are testing the AI in the NP2.(Looks like NP2). I’m sure they are not…
Hello there! I’m always been in a confusion whether my phone will get AI features in future. I mean i have NP2A and running NOS3 Right now. I have watched Carl speaking about his Future Nothing AI which will come up with NP3. My question is will those AI(which are coming up with NP3) will also be available to Other phones?
Carl Hey Carl! I loved your works and the company’s passion towards tech. Now my aim is to work at Nothing company. I’m currently working on my AI stuffs and intermediate in front end. Mark my words, Im Wilfred Roy 3rd year studying Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. I would join Nothing company even though its critical to. Love from india.
Faster App opening animations without any lag, Better camera image processing, nothing’s inbuilt AI for all phones, Nothing gallery inbuilt editing features, Nothing Gallery additional AI features, Nothing new Notification animation, more dot animation, Smooth animations, More lockscreen customization, Depth effect is anticipated, customisable status bar, Transparent status bar, Nothing Eco system…. These are all my wishlist for 2025
How to add countdown widget???

Anonymous142 Everything apple has and everything android has. But taking those features to the next level and the quick share along with nothing’s ecosystem is the subject of the discussion. Quick share is good but let it be for a larger/multiple files. These are for instant file or media share for seamless transition. We are not integrating some brand’s unique features but we are developing some features that are needed and necessary for nothing users to enhance the User experience.
Also there is no need of touching the actual device. As of the description, 4-10cm of distance is enough for the phones to connect with another device automatically or with user’s permission.
Interlastic oh i see…

Hey there! i have designed a new Ecosystem concept for nothing…
Here’s a detailed explanation of how your Nothing Ecosystem proximity file-sharing feature could work:
—
1. Detection of Proximity
Hardware Integration:
- The UWB (Ultra-Wideband) or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module in Nothing phones detects when two devices are in close proximity (4–10 cm).
- Alternatively, NFC (Near Field Communication) can also handle this range detection.
Connection Trigger:
When two Nothing phones come close, they initiate a handshake process. This involves securely exchanging device IDs and setting up a temporary, encrypted connection.
2. Automatic Connection Setup
Encrypted Peer-to-Peer Network:
- The phones establish a direct peer-to-peer Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct connection, which allows high-speed data transfer without requiring external networks.
User Notification:
Both phones display a subtle notification (e.g., a light animation or vibration) confirming that they’re ready to exchange files.
3. File Transfer Gesture (Swipe-to-Send)
How It Works:
- The user selects a file (image, document, video, etc.) from their gallery, file manager, or any compatible app.
- Once the file is selected, a visual animation appears, such as the file “lifting” off the screen as the user holds it.
- The user then performs a swipe-up gesture, and the file is sent toward the other device.
Receiving Device Experience:
The receiving device shows an animation of the file “landing” onto its screen, reinforcing the seamless transfer process.
The receiver can preview, save, or open the file directly.
4. File Transfer Mechanics
Fast and Secure Data Transfer:
- Once the gesture is completed, the file is sent over the established connection (e.g., Wi-Fi Direct or NFC).
- The transfer is end-to-end encrypted to ensure security.
Compatibility:
The feature works for a variety of file types—photos, videos, documents, contacts, or even app APKs.
—
5. Feedback and Interaction
Sender’s Feedback:
- The sending phone shows an animation of the file disappearing or a progress bar to indicate the transfer status.
Receiver’s Feedback:
The receiving phone displays an incoming animation or sound, giving the interaction a tangible, satisfying experience.
LED Integration:
The Nothing phone’s glyph LEDs on the back could light up or pulse during the transfer, adding a cool visual element.
—
6. Fail-Safe and Privacy Features
Pre-Transfer Confirmation:
- Before completing the transfer, both devices can display a quick confirmation prompt (e.g., “Do you want to send/accept this file?”).
Privacy Control:
Users can enable/disable proximity detection or file-sharing mode in settings to avoid unwanted connections.
Restricted Zones:
This feature could include security layers to work only in trusted environments (e.g., avoiding accidental transfers in public places).
7. Post-Transfer Features
Quick Sharing for Multiple Files:
- After the first file is transferred, users can drag-and-drop additional files without needing to reconnect devices.
Cross-Device Integration:
Files could automatically sync to other Nothing ecosystem devices like earbuds, tablets, or a potential Nothing laptop.
Technical Workflow
Proximity Detection:
- NFC or Bluetooth triggers the handshake when phones are within range.
File Selection:
User selects a file, and the OS triggers the animation and prepares the file for sending.
Gesture Recognition:
The swipe-up gesture activates the transfer process using the device’s touch and motion sensors.
Data Encryption and Transfer:
The phone encrypts the file and sends it over a secure Wi-Fi Direct or NFC.
Transfer Feedback:
Both phones provide real-time progress feedback and confirmation of the completed transfer.
Why It Stands Out
Minimal Effort: No pairing, no QR codes—just proximity and a gesture.
Unique Design: The swipe-up animation, coupled with Nothing’s minimalist UI and glyph interface, aligns with their design philosophy.
Fast Transfers: Leverages cutting-edge protocols like UWB and Wi-Fi Direct for quick file sharing.
Intuitive UX: The gesture-based interaction makes the process feel natural and futuristic.
vovan-v thanks buddy
