    NikhilShah_us0IGq2KAY I have the same on my NP(1)! In my case, it is even worse, further down to the bottom of the screen. And worse, it doesn’t move/shift from top to mid-bottom as before (which I was OK with; I couldn’t care less about the shifting, TBH). But… Before, it was moving, but now it seems stuck at the bottom all day long (and throughout the night), which is quite stupid and annoying. When notification icons appear under my widgets, they almost touch the fingerprint sensor circle. I don’t think having the AOD information at the bottom of the screen is intentional and if the original shifting was intentional, this seems like a bug.

    It started to happen after the NOS 2.6 update. I tried to turn the feature off and on again, reboot the phone, … Nothing has helped. Can anyone suggest what I should report through the Feedback? What information except for written description might the developers need to investigate this?

    UPDATE: So it seems to shift, but only from the screen’s bottom to the lower center of the screen, like there is an invisible line it can’t cross and go back up.

      KinoRongavilla That I undestand, but it is strange that for some it works like this and for others it doesn’t. Some users have AOD widgets and clock positioned always at the same place on their screen - matching the position on Lock screen. At the same time, when NOS 2.0 was introduced, there was quite a focus on the system’s consistency including smooth transitions between AOD, Lock screen and Home scree, which in this case is not followed.

          I think that all known iformation indicates it could be a new phone, Nothing Phone (2a), perhaps.

          Allelujah Interesting statement of yours. In my case (Phone 1 with the latest NOS 2.0.5) my AOD clock and widgets move, we already discussed it in a different thread (here), and I actually even reported it as a bug to Nothing’s Support team, but nothing has happened since. For me, this information indicates that there is some inconsistency in the AOD’s behavior and could get some serious attention. I don’t like to know that my system behaves differently than others’. 🙂

              The Community portal here is very good, better than Discord at least for me. Howewer, I would appreciate one thing: Having an opportunity to report discussed topics/issues directly to the Nothing Support team. I have a feeling that the core of reporting issues gets lost throughout the process between a user, the Support team and the R&D team, in the end.

              • I think that very fruitful discussions are lead here by many users, and very often there is an understanding of Community Manager (Rob) and moderators (e.g., Luis) and often there is also a solution, or at least an idea for a solution, found.
              • But then, when reporting the issue to the Support team, I get that things get lost, or are explained differently and there is rarely any feedback whether there will or will not be a resolution.
              • Community feature request and bud reporting portal, something like Prodcamp, would be nice, to track the progress of a reported issue, knowing it reached R&D or other teams.

              I think that generally you do a lot of great work, but keeping users in the dark when they provide feedback or when they report an issue is IMHO not the luckiest solution.

                    Louis ☕️ So, I managed to record the difference in position of AOD widgets and AOD clock with Quick Look on using a different phone – here you go. The first one is from today’s morning and the second one was take 15min ago.

                    Please, keep these videos in discresion as there is a photo of my family (and at the same time I consider it as a little treat for all of you, so hopefully it lightens up your day😅).

                        totalsandy I must admin I didn’t check it until now, but I must agree. Before, with NOS 1.5.X it was around 3.5-4 GB in avg, now it is around 5.

                            I don’t think you’re the only one. After reading this post I tested it and the behavior on my Phone (1) is the same as you described. However, it doesn’t bother me at all, it’s an expected behavior for me.

                            YESSS! This is sooo much better for meaningful conversations than Discord. Don’t get me wrong, Discord is a great platform, but sometime it takes ages to find the right information there. The experience here is much better, simplier and cleaner.
