After updating to NOS 3, When I use the flip to glyph to put the smartphone on silent, after a while the ringtone turns on by itself again.

My nothing phone 1 keeps draining battery fast, no over charging.. overnight goes 10% without even using it.. 1 % per drops in less than 4-5 minutes.. no 3rd party apps installed and give a factory reset recently

Last screen time is 19 minutes & it’s 87% from 100

After the last update, the battery drains very quickly, the Bluetooth connection drops, it heats up and there is noticeable lag. The phone has become an unusable device.

Why do I have to restart the phone to disable Developer Options

I do not know why this was needed or if its enforced by Android 15, but please fix this.

I’m experiencing a compatibility issue with my Ear (2) and Phone (1) after updating to Nothing OS 3.0. When I connect the Ear (2) to my Phone (1), the volume is extremely low, almost like it’s set to the minimum.

I’ve tried restarting the Ear (2) multiple times and even reset it, but the issue persists. Initially, I thought it was a problem with my Ear (2), but after restarting my Phone (1), the issue got resolved. However, the same problem occurred again yesterday.

Has anyone else faced this issue after the Nothing OS 3.0 update? Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

AAQIF BHAT phone is usually slow while using apps but pretty smooth and fast while scrolling without apps or using Google!

Hi! You are talking about Phone (1) right? I also have the phone since 2022 and i must say that you are lucky if you had this experience with this phone. My phone (1) experience is exactly opposite of what you had. Extremely poor battery backup, malfunctioning volume buttons , software bugs, poor bluetooth reception and what not. I’m fed up with this phone. Horrible experience at last :/

Since last OS 3 update, the phone(1) is almost useless… Bluetooth/Wifi is buggy AF, Android Auto bluetooth ain’t working anymore, incoming calls rings twice at the same time, apps are crashing, … and support is helpless.

Can we officially downgrade to OS 2 ? Or is there any patch coming anytime soon?

I’m facing heating issues the calls don’t pop up and the phone is restarting a lots and lagging a lot the battery drains way too much i was charging my phone once a day and now i have to charge it 2 to 3 times a day whenever i try to take a screenshot the phone lags and become very hot and send a message that can’t take the screenshot if someone can tell me how to roll back to the previous os will be better than this.

TomR_vMSAVxmRH8 Same here, I’m constantly restarting my phone, to listen to music, YouTube or Instagram Videos. The micro dropouts in audio is intolerable.

My nothing phone 1 battery is not even surviving 1 day even if my usage is approx 3-4 hours a day and I am facing this problem after the January update This problem is making my phone unusable. Please fix it

There is option to lock bootloader at the end too.

Hello, ever since I updated to beta 3.0 i have noticed that my battery life has decreased. Today for example I left the house with 70% battery at 12:00 and went exploring in the forest. There I have not used the phone much, just 5-10 texts on Instagram and looking at the compass, so over all not more than 30-45 maximum minutes of use. When I left the forest at 16:00 my phone battery was 35%. I waited untill it was 22% and at 16:30 I have charged my phone with a portable charger until 51%. Between 16:45 and 17:30 the phone battery dropped to 0%. I have noticed that when the phone reached 30% it started dropping 1% every 2-3 minuted and when it reached 15% it dropped 1% every few seconds. Now, since 17:30 to 17:38 I put my phone to charge at a 35W hama fast charger and its 55%.

What can I do to make my phone last longer? I have accubattery and if some screenshots would help I would gladly send them. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I was facing this before updating to NOS 3.0. And there are no such apps which consumes battery more than usual, but I’m curious to know -

when I check battery usage I can see almost every app is consuming phone’s battery even if I am not using it on daily basis.

I recently came across the description of the “Lenticular” filter, which gives photos a unique glassy effect. However, I noticed that this feature is not available on my Nothing Phone 1, even after updating to version 3.0.

I’ve been having a soar experience with Phone (1) since it got OS 2.0 update. It’s battery backup got a big hit since then and I’ve not been able to use it with more than 3.5 Hours of SOT with very low usage.

Fast forward to OS 3.0

Got OS 3.0 update yesterday and the result was same. Getting 3 hours of SOT from 100 to 20%.

What’s my take on this:

Phone (1) have a decent size battery and an efficient chip so both of these factors are out of the question. I think the Nothing OS is the reason for poor battery backup. The OS is not optimized at all and thus causing phone to die within 3 hours of full charge.

I would like to know if this is an issue with every Phone (1) or it’s just me.

Please share your battery backup experience with Phone (1) post OS 3.0 update.

Still No Camera Widget For The Phone (1) And Also In The Camera App There Is No LENTICULAR Filter , The Update Itself Is Very Smooth , But Maybe A Little More Respect For The Phone (1) Users Would Be Awesome !

Did the camera improve with this update? Is it worth it in that respect? What about the battery?
