  • nova But anyone can still turn off the phone. This is just an extremely poorly designed mess.

    Security is hilarious.

If I add a quick widget pointing to a calculator on the lockscreen, it asks me to unlock the phone to open the calculator. But I can turn off the phone without providing any credentials.

Haven’t ever used such a phone with improperly implemented security protocols.

But after investing so much money, now I am stuck. So I actively tell people to look at other phones.

    • For me personally, UI/UX is not something that can be made overnight on a whim. So many things to considerate. It’s not only must aestheticly pleasing but functional. Remember that one of the design principle is “form follow function”. That means that a visual must have a function to exist. If not, then dont.

The dot matrix typeface is hard to read in a quick glance. And one of the main use of homescreen is for quick use. You wont spend a minute looking at the homescreen.

You’ll open, see the widget for a sec, and proceed to your next activity.

Unity doesn’t mean you have to use the same visual all over the place. I agree with you that design need contrast to attract your attention. It also made you to not easily feel bored. This contrast is not only applies to design. Photography, architecture, and other form of art as well.

I do agree with some of her points but some of it are.. hmm

      • You would think that Nothing would hurry and get more accessories made in a hurry.

Everybody wants to buy them, they are inexpensive to make and it would be a safe source of revenue for the company.

But no. They are dedicated in awarding backgrounds while their customers are left hanging.

This is what you get when you buy something from an unknown, untested company and good thing I’m only $200 in.

Between the software issues and the lack of support it’s easy to walk away and move to greener, more reliable pastures.

Dude.. she is literally a UI designer.

It’s their job to make things intuitive.

And she pointed out the good things from other OS’s lol. Why would she point out the bad things among other OS’s in a video that is critiquing nothing? Make it make sense.

I’ve personally felt a lot of what she said as pain points. It’s not like she’s spewing a bunch of bs or making things up.

All points were valid. As a design-oriented company, nothing should definitely work with such users to make their products better.
