mutasimahmed New Updates are always worth the download –> Security patches and new functions. In my case it has never affected my phones performance in a negative way. Go for it :- )

Hi everyone! I just got the new phone 2 running Nothing OS 2.5.6 and I’m concerned about the battery life and SOT. How is the battery performance on this version? 
I’m currently on Nothing OS 2.0.5. Should I upgrade to 2.5.6, or is it better to stick with 2.0.5 for now?
Additionally, if anyone has insights on camera/QOL improvements, heating issues, or any other relevant performance metrics in the latest update, that would be super helpful. Your feedback is greatly appreciated as I’m trying to optimize my new device experience. Thanks in advance for your help!

It’s just my way of playing the update. Hahahaha
If I am bored, I will reset my phone without waiting for major or minor updates.
For me, is best to reset when major updates. It’s not like every update, needs to reset. Unless there is something wrong with the update la.
Btw thanks for the explanation. It is good for others to understand about it. 
Other than that, nothing wrong with this update on my phone, except the same issue I faced on the previous version, Bluetooth loud volume warning popped up like 1st time connected the device. Aiyaa

My nonsense opinion, I prefer you update the software because it fixes some bugs, a bit of improvement on something, new features and d security patch.
Not wrong if you don’t update, you are still alive.
Yes, some updates are okay, and some are not ok. Sometimes, it takes time to learn or do something to adapt your usage etc., and then your battery is back to usual.
This is not a recommended solution, if your phone having some issues, check out in forum or the internet to see whether anyone having the same problem or not. If not get the answer, resetting the phone is your last resort.

When i use uber and then switch to another app then it crash…. please fix this issue also when i call my uber driver and he or I cut the call,then it takes some time than usual to get back to the screen….u know what i mean?

Rear camera is still pathetic and is messing up with skin tones. Please improve camera in the next update.
Its sad to say but i think camera quality droped after update,photos are not even ok its bad.Can we get better in next update?Baterry,performance is top tier,only camera lacks of better processing,before update was nice.Good Luck im still proud of using N2
When the camera app is not improving on the same problem since day 1, it suggests that the camera app development team is just not good enough to do it or more likely, there is no dedicated team for image processing part. They took a bare minimum number of developers to run the project somehow. Probably. Of course, I don’t know the inside stories of the company. Camera development is just out of their capabilities.
Nothing Os. 2.5.6 is not Supporting JIO 5G in My Nothing Phone 2.

Firmware (bot) phone just crashed 2 times while playing a game never happened so many times before
My phone went black and crashed 2 times with in a span of 3 days and a crash dumping screen appeared what does it mean and why am I getting it how to resolve need help.
On phone 2 with Os 2.5.6 if i Hide the nagivation bar the swipe up gestures for open recent apps or to go back in home work doesn’t work sometimes.

Marcin_miechowicz yeah I’ve noticed this too. Image quality has gotten worse atleast in the mildly lit surroundings. Its quite amazing that we haven’t seen a image quality upgrade this year and it’s already been half a year
