Personally, I think Nothing OS updates are like a joke. The Phone (2) - their latest flagship (not counting the released Phone (3)) - still hasn’t gotten the update, *for example* while the Phone (2a) plus got it Quite a long time ago. Hell, even the old Phone (1) is running the new version.
I hope the devs have some sort of explanation for this - and that whenever this update finally lands, it actually brings something worthwhile to justify the wait. Because so far, even when updates do roll out, they’re hardly groundbreaking.
Treating your own (not even that old) flagships like this is a surefire way to kill any goodwill left for the brand. Keep pumping out budget phones, give them all the attention, and you’ll end up like LG - with only a handful of geeks still caring about your devices. Honestly, even now barely anyone knows you lot exist. And no, being a young company isn’t an excuse - it’s just not.
I don’t want to end up disappointed in Nothing, though. You’re one of the few brands actually trying something different, and let’s be real - you could have a proper future.
