My first impression on CMF watch pro2 is terrific & sorted most of the cons from first gen CMF watch pro. For this price range it’s a steal👍.

Here, I have few suggestions that could fix through a firmware update.

Swimming tracking option
Colour customization for tiles
Music tile theme, colour customization

Nothing please do look into these above mentioned suggestions, it would be more wonderful, appealing experience for users for tracking their swimming activity as a part of fitness & for improving better software experience. Thankyou

The smartwatch DIES NOT have any AoD display, infact the claimed AoD are just normal dumb displays you’d come across many cheap so-called smart watches on the market.

That’s just what AOD is… you can’t have the main watch face displayed at all times or the battery would only last a few hours. Every smart watch is like this.

My unit doesn’t offer any true AiD display, infact the so-called AoD could only display flashes for a few seconds not actual True AoD that i would expect

I don’t know what you mean, the AoD is always on, not just for a few flashes. It has very low brightness though, almost impossible to see in sunshine, and I hope they’ll give us the option to increase its brightness.

Moreover the notifications keep coming as per it’s wishes, sometimes you get but almost of the times you don’t inspite of turning on all the options and allowing all permissions prompted.

I get all the notifications I set up without a single miss, so I don’t know what the issue could be.

John_Matz_09 Swimming isn’t there because you can’t swim with the watch on. It doesn’t have 5ATM rating, only IP68.

LuMat yeah I’m getting the same and on the nothing phone 2 has differing step counter by about 30% off, on the np2 it says I’ve done around 4000 steps and on the watch it says nearly 6000. That’s wildly inaccurate

Bought the CMF watch pro 2 to see what it offers at this price point. It’s at this price for a reason, a few short comings which honestly defeats the object of a smart watch. The smart features offered at this price is quite generous but none of the trackers or sensors are accurate or work, i.e the sleep sensor has only worked twice since I had it (6 days), the countless times the watch disconnects to my Nothing Phone 2 is getting frustrating. The counting of steps is inaccurate as there are occasions of missed steps. It feels like the goal is to under cut the competition with it’s price point and features but ultimately it’s let down by software/hardware inadequacies. What’s the point of a smart watch if the it doesn’t accurately measures health readings! CMF, Colour, Materials and Finish, can’t fault the colour and materials, the finish is good but the internals (sensors and software) have too many issues.

These issues were present in the CMF watch Pro 1 and these issues still persists. Looking good is one thing but the substandard software/hardware issues with tracking has left me feeling a little cheated or ripped off.

kennyw Weird, sleep has been very accurate for me 3 out of 3 times, and the watch never disconnected from my phone (NP1) in the 3 days I’ve had it. No clue about how accurate the step counter is though.

I have been using the watch 2 pro with AOD, heart monitoring and stress monitoring ON.

With heavy usage, I was expecting around 7 days of battery backup (claim is of 11 days).

However to my surprise the battery has drained from 99% to 19% in just 2 days!!

I think this is completely unacceptable and I really want to return this piece. But Flipkart is not allowing direct return (tells to contact the brand).

I really want to know if I have defective piece or all of you are facing the same issue

drb4yntr6b it happened to me also. Switched off constant monitoring, aod etc. now it lasts a min of 5-6 days..

This is a second disappointment of a product by Nothing. The first one went back after two days, this one lasted a day longer. In short the hardware looked promising, missing two critical functions: suitability for swimming and Bluetooth MP3 playing from the watch. Those were not advertised and are not the reason for the return.

The app is the reason. The app repeatedly freezes after a couple of seonds, somtimes a minute or so. Syncing of the steps to Apple health worked, but is unusable if it is recorded twice. Syncing of calories does not work. Syncing of workouts even between watch and app does not work. Two workouts listed in the watch none in the app. The dials with extended information are unusable as the fontsize is so small, that one can barely read them.

It seems the priority was clear: 100 watch dials (bling bling), ero reliability.

That was the last time I tried a product from Nothing.

michaelrommel Customer support responded to me and suggested:

Uninstall and Reinstall the app (I already did that before writing the comment)
Ensure I have the latest version of the app (I did that too)

Reset the watch

I did not try that, only rebooting it. I thought, because the first thing the app did was update and reset the watch this was enough. But I did as asked, losing the two days of data and exercises (no big deal). And lo and behold, the watch and app started working and the app stopped freezing.

So I will give this a couple of more days to try it out.

Still severe issues remain:

synced exercises show thousands of kilometers for a 3 km run
workout routes are not synced to Health
Although SPO2 is measured, it is not used to calculate VO2max nor synced to Health

Let’s see, which impreovements are made before the return window elapses.

Firstly i want to say thank you for the opportunity for allowing me to be apart of the community and allowing me to take part in reviewing a product from you guys.

This was my experience with the watch pro 2 firstly i have to mention the battery it lasted me for days at least 4 and a bit days i could not believe how solid the battery was.

The notifications paired with my nothing phone and my apple phone was the same easy to pair up came through to the watch with no issues at all. The only thing i did miss which was from my apple watch was the notification dot for when i missed something but wasn’t major and got used to it.

The look and straps were very nice the blue leather feel strap is really nice has no issues with my skin no irritation and the same with the actual watch. I had a few hiccups as i have tattoos on my wrist the heart rate and oxygen levels was not working but that soon got fixed.

Heart rate and oxygen levels i found was very stable after the fix worked straight the way and was very good at receiving the information really well.

Overall i am not doing a massive review it was just for my personal experience and i have to say it was very enjoyable the price alone i could not believe how much absolutely brilliant price for what you are getting.

Superb watch superb price well done to the team.

Enjoying the watch so far - I will primarily use it for running - is there way to set a goal on the watch for running? At the moment I have a widget that says ‘outdoor run - no goal’ - would be nice to change to 5k/10k etc.

I also can’t get it to Sync with Strava despite giving permission?

Graham_DGZpC2IRCQ You can tap the little settings button next to the activity on the watch and choose your goal. You can do distance, time or calories.

Edit: You can’t do it through the widget I think, you have to go into the menu and into “Exercise”. Once you set the goal, it should stay though even if you start the exercise through the widget.

michaelrommel Yeah, there are a lot of software issues, but it only released a week ago, so I’m really hopeful they will fix all the problems. The hardware itself seems very good.

michaelrommel So, after just one day, the app freezing issues are back, as well as the no-syncing issue. The app locks up during communication with the watch. Sonetimes when it says Syncing GPS data… sometimes without displaying anything. I tried unpariing the device and - can you believe it - unpairing deletes all data from the watch as well. WTF? I did not say Reset, just unpaired it…

Original statmeent restored: as of now, it is unusable (at least for Apple users, may be different with Android phones).
