CMF Phone 1 - Back camera scratched

hey, im having the same problem, my phone is less than 1 week old. There is no way glass scratches that easily. I am pretty sure there is a plastic film on the back camera just like the one on the screen. It covers the entire lens though. I found this because i tried to peel it a little and very small ammount of it came off; I was scared to peel a major ammount so I cant be 100% sure that this is the case. If there is someone else here willing to try peeling the whole thing that’d be great.

I experienced a similar issue. The main camera lens cover is quite delicate and can easily become scratched or damaged. device build quality is up to the mark & found so many software bugs.

K4NU I have also heard about this problem and now I am even more tensed. I bought a CMF phone just yesterday.

My CMF Phone 1 also has a small scratch from nowhere

My nothing CMF1 has a camera scratch by just putting in pocket did it can be replaced as when I called to service center they said that its not under warranty.

I also have a scratch u can’t really do anything just put a case on it

CMF1_hacker It makes sense that they made the cover of the camera out of plastic because the glass breaks faster.

Guyz I’m ahsan I recently purchased cmf phone 1 and got the device in October 10th and after 2 days only I got some minor 2 3 scratches on my back camera lens even I’m using the back cover very very safely I purchased the cover just after receiving the phone so just I clean my camera lens and after cleaning the camera lens I got these scratches and this isn’t fair also I purchased the back camera lens protector but it will take time to deliver but already I got scratches

Nothing_Fan_Boy Very sad to hear this but the warranty does not cover scratches on the whole phone.

Nothing_Fan_Boy this sucks man, time for the lens protectors and already scratches. Im sorry for you problem man, I hope you don’t feel that bad about this. Scratches are something that happens quite often with many phones. And considering this phone’s design, it isn’t that much shocking that it might get scratches. Im also running CMF phone 1 black color. So don’t feel bad man if it can be replaced then surely do what is needed but if not, don’t worry, I don’t think it will affect the performance.

SamAron bro your right and these camera lenses can be changed and I know it’s very easy to change the back camera lenses module cuz on YouTube channel I saw the teardown of this phone and its fine but unfortunately I do not have any service centre in my home town or in my state/city I have to travel more than 120km but I cannot cuz due to family problems and I’m a student so not alloweded at my home I don’t know when nothing will bring service centre in my city I’m eagerly waiting for it
