TusharChaudhary_SZKQjosj2A bro i mentiond about green tint already the issue is not green tint on lockscreen

Himanshu Colour shift when FPSensor is active (green tint most likely)

Himanshu green tint (when FPSensor active) can be fixed through OS updates, companies already did that.

the main issue is color fading or pixelated color palette

LASENTERPRISE At this point they’re not even trying to fix the issue in their later batches. I’ve a feeling they’re deliberately doing this

One of the stupid answer I recieved from nothing team was Ofcourse there will be differences in AMOLED when u compare with other high end devices. Seriously, I replied him saying just compare with 25k range below devices like Vivo v27, Nord CE4, Motorola Neo edge and many more .

Heera dude my 18k poco x5 pro has a far superior display with no issues at all. Support centre guys think we’re fools who don’t know damn about phones. 🤡

Nothing team deleted my this comment so reporting again

As the brand name goes “Nothing” will change because changing the display also fetched no resolution same problem in fact the nothing exclusive service centre Mumbai where I had changed my display they are not ready to acknowledge the problem as they mentioned the problem as green tint in their job sheet. And they are not ready to exchange with a fresh unit. Also once your phone gets into repair it will start getting different problems. I am now facing calling issues i.e. When I pick up the call and say hello the other person can’t hear it in one go. I have tried switching off & removed the sim but no resolution. Also tried the same sim in another phone & it worked perfectly fine. Just wait for nothing phone 3 and they will forget that they ever made a nothing phone 2a. I can guarantee this considering their current behaviour. Most of nothing phone 2a users are more of like a ln experimental rat. They ruined the whole SMARTPHONE EXPERIENCE

And when I had raised a query with nothing they replied this, they are simply fooling around and avoiding the elephant in the room

    "" Hi Deep,

Thank you for contacting Nothing Tech India Support. We’re here to assist you with the issues you’re experiencing with your Nothing Phone (2a).

We do understand your concern, we are very sorry to have caused you a bad experience. The OLED screens all have a green screen phenomenon, which varies in severity. OLED emits light through current drive, and when the screen current fluctuates at low screen brightness, it can cause uneven brightness. In dark environments, turning on dark mode may result in slight color deviation, such as green or red. However, this will not affect your use in normal brightness environments. We will continue to work to improve this phenomenon. If you have any other concerns, please contact us again.""

So basically they are saying to use the phone in day light or in a little room and avoid using in dark so that your premium experience is not ruined.

Deep they think the customer is an ignorant clown who don’t know tech and can be fooled. Comedic.

Btw I’ve posted a new discussion on my account regarding the HDR issue. If you want you can check the latest thread I posted. Thanks!

I have this new issue on my NP 2A Beta 2. My AOD screen is visible everywhere in my phone now. Seems like a burning issue.

RahulPoswal As the name suggests “Nothing” that’s what they do “Nothing” ! We can raise or make lausy noise in this thread they don’t bother at all. At last we have to live with it. Everyone lost the trust now.

I had to make an account after watching these many people who cannot do 5 minutes of research and start complaining about how flag ships have better display than their budget phone. Seriously, have you ever thought about, that maybe, just maybe, it is a stylistic/intentional choice? Ever thought about why it’s only on native UIs like fingerprint authentication and the notifications/quick settings background (only while locked)? So far people have only shared pictures of these two. “Smart Pixels” is a feature in some AMOLED phones that turns off a certain portion of pixels to conserve battery life. This is what causes the “tint issue” and “black not black” while the brightness is low. Agreed, they should’ve mentioned it somewhere or allowed us to disable it, so that you all can post “phone 2a battery blunder too bad sir” next.

My bad if this sounds rude, it is. I felt like I had to vent out after seeing these naive people cause trouble to the customer services for no good reason.

Problem is mostly seen in the insta reels not that much in YouTube shorts and LinkedIn short clips the pixel problem in which the dark or black content pixels are actually bleeding and the quality of ig reels is worstt. Nothing should fix it through os update!!

Merged 1 post from 2a plus display pixel problem .

            NukaCola

I also made an account after seeing your comment. Are you speaking on behalf of the company who has said nothing about this? Do you have access to part of the software development and came to know such smart pixel feature exist?

The company is being tone deaf about this issue and whoever bought the phone has to out up with inferior display (funny since display is one of the most important part of a smartphone)

Also jokes on the ceo who responded to all the phone review but can’t even do basic things qc things right

NukaCola behold everyone, mr nukacola here thinks he/she is intellectual.
Frankly speaking, this green tint issue, hdr issue, blacks not black issue, bleeding issue or damn, every other display issue which is getting hate by the community members is because those issues are not supposed to be there. what you’re saying is like saying “bald is a hairstyle”. do not label genuine issues as intended features.
