I have both Pixel 7 pro and nothing phone 2. In good lighting contidiotns i dont see any diferences in photos. Only one complain; NP2 have to warm white balance. But overall it is very solid camera for this price range.

Camera lacks consistency and this is not the camera quality expected from a 40k phone. Nothing should definitely start focusing on phone 2 since it’s their flagship. Nothing has so many flaws in the case of phone 2 cause it’s camera is not great all the time low light everything get ruined ois sometimes fail to be stable and gives a slight jerk. Overall the camera department of this phone needs heavy improvements.

CYPHER_LYNX It works if you use the correct version and configuration file. Exploring XDA and Telegram can be a good starting point for the same. I am bound to follow the rules while interacting here, hence cant share the resources directly. But I am sure that you are smart enough to find the way 👍

    Should improve Phone 2’s video recording—enhance stability, clarity, skin tones, and HDR in 4K at 60fps and 30fps. This will help us compete with iPhones and Samsung. Focus on features like Cinematic Mode and AI enhancements to meet customer expectations.

    Dear nothing team and users,

    I I am writing to bring to your attention a recent observation regarding the camera performance, particularly at night. As you can see in the attached photo, there appears to be a noticeable trail effect around the street lights. This issue is affecting the clarity and quality of our nighttime photographs.

    This trail, often referred to as “light streaking” or “lens flare,” is generally caused by the way the camera sensor processes bright light sources in low-light conditions. While it can sometimes add an artistic effect, it is mostly seen as a distraction in images where clarity is essential.

    If anyone else has experienced similar issues or has suggestions on how to mitigate this problem, your input would be greatly appreciated.

    Also, I don’t understand why 64 MP is has lesser details compared to the 12 MP mode.

    Camera is really poor when somthing is in motion. Even if I shake the camera just a bit.

    Hope nothing fixed this in the next update

      Cesraw yes camera is inconsistent but i never face this lens flare issue maybe try cleaning your lens or remove lens protector if use

            Camera quality is very poor. when I see photo before taking is quite good but when I click it and see after processing,the light balance distorted. Specially for face ,face gets very dark .they say it’s showing natural photos but it’s not a little bit near natural. I am huge fan of nothing. but the camera quality is very very poor . I’m embarassed to tell someone that I brought a phone by spending 35k because when they click a photo and see the quality it’s very very poor. Please sir fix this . Just for camera I brought nothing phone 2 instead of nothing 2a.

            Pictures from 3 phones:

            Top Samsuna A53 (cheaper than Nothing Phone 2) - correct colours and decent resolution

            Middle Nothing Phone 2 - not really bad colours (too blue but that looks nice) but details completely washed out

            Bottom iPhone 15 (a little costlier than Nothing Phone 2 - not much) - not good for the price of the phone, but the videos from it are OK, Not as good as in the Samsung, but better than the Phone 2

            Latest update did change NOTHING at all. Camera is still as bad/good or whatever as when all software was factory.

            I got my phone 2 last week, so far it’s worth every dollar, I m so satisfied with it. I just have 1 issue and that is face recognition. If they have it then it’s 11/10

              Is there any update for phone2 camera ?

              Camera picture processing is very disappointing and recently my phone2 camera was stop working while taking photos , screen gone black for few minutes and become normal after i restart the Phone
