Everything except the battery is good. I think a lot of people have some kind of battery issue, maybe wait a bit until the os is final

azeemmohd60 If you are looking for good camera than this not the phone for you. Don’t go with all the hype created around the phone. Camera is very bad even my 5 year old honor play clicks better pics. Durability wise also phone ain’t good. Even after putting up the nothing case the plastic on the back of the phones shows scratches or dust marks which can’t be fixed. Battery is okish and I played shadow fight arena 4 on game, you can only play on medium settings.
Only plus point is Software experience and widgets.

abhi2905 Depends on your expectations. People all over this forum trash the camera, but I genuinely don’t find it too bad myself. Not great but for £309 (BF sale) there’s got to be a compromise somewhere and I’m ok with that. With the 2a, I find the performance being awful on budget Android devices a thing of the past. My 2a has never slowed down unless it was under 10% battery, and even then, it was only the occasional jitter. Battery life on my phone has been great. I could go a full 24 hours (including a 6-7 hour sleep and I’m a pretty heavy user). NFC is there for my contactless payments so I’m all good with the compromises I had to make. It depends on where your priorities lie and what you’re trying to get for your money. I came from an iPhone 13 and I don’t regret it.

Kind regards.

dylanknowsnothing I just have to ask what version you have? 12 or 8 gigs of ram? Because I still can’t believe how bad my luck was with this draw, I need to charge three or four times a day with 2 hours of screen time, it’s driving me pretty nuts

      Save your money and invest

ObradKostadinovic If you’re having to charge your phone 3-4 times a day, that certainly isn’t normal. Even if your battery was at 80% of its original capacity, you wouldn’t need to charge that much. Considering how well battery life is on my unit, certainly wouldn’t put it down to a software issue. If it was a software issue, we’d all be experiencing those problems with the battery. I know Nothing in the UK do have a phone number. If you’re based in the UK, have you tried contacting them and speaking on a call?

      Kind regards.

Nope, I’m from Serbia, so there is no direct support. But the problem is that my phone does have a software issue, like the other users with the same problem - in my battery stats I can see that wifi is destroying my battery life. But that’s probably not even wifi, a user found out that the kernel keeps sucking on the battery, so we can at least wait for the next update and see if that helps. If that fails I’ll try to replace my phone somehow.

I’ve been considering getting the Nothing Phone (2a) but have come across numerous reports of bugs and issues on Reddit and within the Nothing community. Could you provide honest feedback on these concerns to help me make an informed decision?

          Hey 👋

Do you have any further information and specifics about which ‘bugs’ you’re concerned about? Currently your post is quite vague.

In general bugs can exist within any app, and on any device, but if you believe there is something specific existing on 2a then please let us know so we can better guide you.

Hello Nothing Community members, I was interested in buying the Nothing Phone 2a as my first smartphone, as i really loved the whole idea of Nothing and their phone series. However, as i delved deeper, i have seen SO MANY complaints about SO MANY things and it makes me wonder so much if i shoukd get this honestly. Then i realized why not ask the community itself!

So dear phone 2a users, Do you regret buying the device? How is it overall and what are its major drawbacks? and finally, do you suggest i get the phone.
