marchtl I did not lose any data when I installed the OS3 Beta on my NP(1).

Always good to have a backup just in case though.

Been using new OS 3 and am happy with changes for the most part, but Bluetooth got messed up entirely.

Some devices, like my car, connect and immediately disconnect to Bluetooth. Others like my headphones worked fine but now they donā€™t output sound.

Iā€™ve checked with other phones and the problem lies in the beta. If thereā€™s a temporary fix (thatā€™s not rolling back, because it is my last resort) Iā€™d be very grateful. Even if not, this needs a fix pretty quickly before the stable release.

Thanks in advance and have a lovely day āœØ

There are some small small bugs, Iā€™ll only mention the main bugs which might make one frustrated.

1.Navigation gestures donā€™t work correctly. Mostly they work in settings and just stop working some time after settings is closed. Plz fix this on priority as this comes under basic functionalities.

2.There is one calendar application I installed from play store, after the update I see a popup message saying ā€œthat app is not respondingā€ even though I havenā€™t used that app for ages now, well the good thing is itā€™s frequency is small.

Well, what can I sayā€¦ the update was successful, but Only the launcher has been updated, Only the visual part. It seems that nothing else has changed. But the android version has changed. And so few changes

Merged 2 posts from Phone (1) OS 3 beta bluetooth bug... Needs urgent fix..
Merged 1 post from Os 3.0 phone not charging.

Is fun the updateā€¦..i love itā€¦.nothing 1 is goodā€¦.if u like google stockā€¦.do update and enjoy

Is there Component health menu? Like storage health and battery health information?

I will wait for the stable version. For now, Iā€™m just patiently waiting.šŸ˜…

Just installed 3.0 for the nothing phone 1

No problems at all, just a few things missing though

In NothingOS 2.6 on NP1 there was a problem

If you set vibration strength in keyboard settings below 56 ms, vibration suddenly got almost non-existent. So there were essentially 2 variants - ā€œweakā€ and ā€œstrongā€, the setting wasnt uniform.

In latest NothingOS 3.0 on the same phone it got even worse, now if you set it on 55 and lower it almost never vibrates at all, and 56 and higher its just vibtaring, you cant change the strength.

Also, almost everywhere, if im scrolling and i keep my finger on the screen after i stopped the scrollable area of the screen sometimes flickers.

TanmayKatoch updated it week ago, and tonight started draining, smb knows how to fix? Or should I wait for stable, and for now instal 2.6?

Please add automatic display refresh adjustment. Now it is only 60 and 120 hz, and there is no adaptive.

      Dear Nothing Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am a user of Nothing Phone 1 and have been exploring Nothing OS 3.0. While I appreciate the unique design philosophy and thoughtful features of the OS, I wanted to share some feedback regarding certain bugs and potential improvements that could enhance the user experience.

      Bugs Noticed

      1. Fingerprint Scanner:

The fingerprint scanner does not work consistently. At times, it takes longer than usual to respond, does not respond at all, or responds with a delay.

      2. Bluetooth Battery Status:

While Bluetooth functionality is stable, the battery percentage for connected earbuds does not display accurately. This persists even when the earbuds are fully charged.

      3. Haptics with Gboard:

Haptics feedback feels inconsistent, especially while using Gboard. The issue detracts from the otherwise premium tactile experience of the phone.

      Suggestions for Improvements

      1. Red Highlight for Active Tiles:

Adding a red color highlight to active tiles in the notification/quick settings area would make the interface more distinct and visually intuitive.

      2. Increased Quick Setting Tiles:

The current limit of 6ā€“8 tiles in the notification area is restrictive. Allowing more tiles to be visible at once would improve usability, particularly for users of larger phones like the Nothing Phone 2.

      3. Nothing Gallery Enhancements:

In the Gallery app, folders currently display only their names. Adding a thumbnail preview of the folderā€™s content (e.g., the first photo or video) would make navigation more intuitive and visually engaging.

I believe these changes and fixes could significantly improve the overall experience with Nothing OS 3.0. Thank you for continuously striving to deliver a unique and polished smartphone experience.

Looking forward to seeing these updates in the near future.

      Best regards,

      Manoj
