Reporting issues on Feedback
jayantpotdar748 Then I guess it happened to my device anyway I hope it will be fixed with the upcoming updates hopefully
I have also raised couple of tickets from my side and the reply j receive is totally bs.
Nothing001 Iam also facing a big on display.Frequently it turns into black, when I connect my mouse mouse pointer is visible and finger print is also visible but I can’t see video
Nothing001 Agreed. Not just sometimes but this is what happens everytime. You report something and then comes some sort of an auto generated response (it seems like at least) which has only those steps you’ve already tried or it has steps which are unrelated to the problem.
Hi, I’m a little sceptical about feedbacks when it comes to a bigger company like Nothing so I’d like to know what’s your take on this.
Are you submitting feedbacks about the system and functions?
Do you report bugs and stuff?
If yes can you tell me for how long do you do it?
Do you see these reported bugs and feature requests come real?
I’ve submitted a bug that I was experiencing on my Nothing Phone (2) earlier this year and their response time via email was pretty quick from what I can tell. I’m considering making another bug report due to an issue that I’m having after having updated to NOS 3.0 but I wanna see first if there are others having the same issue and what their fix is if there is any.
Btw, the issue is that the phone no longer detects that it’s supposed to be fast/quick charging and just charges at the standard speeds. I’m using the same charging setup as before so literally nothing has changed outside of the phone having been updated to NOS 3.0. The charging USB-C cable is the one that came with the phone and I’m using an Anker power brick that supports USB-C PD charging standards. Other devices charge just fine using the same setup and it’s just the Nothing Phone having this issue.
I typically get replies regarding my bug reports, but it depends on the bug I’ve reported. For example when I reported issues with custom ringtones and notifications lacking vibration on my NP2. Got a reply later on it seems to be caused by OS 2.6 and will be solved “later on”. Now with OS 3.0, it’s working well again, although the phone still doesn’t vibrate when selecting and previewing tones inside the Glyph settings, but at least its working now everywhere else.
Regarding feedback of course it always depends on what kind of feedback you give and how they like it. They won’t implement every single feedback request they are getting.
ChaitanyaNarang True said till now I haven’t got any solution the only remaining thing now is to hard reset my phone which is always the last option…
Penumbruh the only remaining fix is to hard reset your device imma do that and see if the bugs will get a fix.
Nothing001 Yikes, not looking forward to doing that. Maybe I’ll just wait and see if there’s an update that they’ll release fixing the issue without me having to go through all that trouble (unless you meant reset as in power cycling the device from a cold boot ).

Hi everyone - just an update for those who may not have seen my thread yet. Here’s what the Nothing team had to say about this:
The team are going to look at changing the user journey here to improve the experience using the feedback feature. As well as bringing this to the board, I also spoke to Tom, the Customer Experience Manager, who’s going to raise these issues from his side too. He has assured me that your feedback is getting to the right team - so please continue to report bugs and help make Nothing OS better for everyone!
So as mentioned, please do continue to use this feature to report bugs and submit feedback! Hopefully the flow and responses from support can be improved over time, but be assured that your feedback is getting to the right people regardless.
If you haven’t seen my digest from my first board meeting, please do so here: Q4 2024 Community Board Observer digest.
Wanted to report regarding under icons/apps that is under HIDE ICONS, specifically messenger app that even notifications are off, still when someone call it appear on the home screen.
