Now-A-Days on every mobile there are only Google apps….it’s great when you have your own built in app so I should say nothing should make there own built in apps like gallary ,file manager, contact,etc with new uniqueness features , customisation.

        I’m really satisfied with Nothing os 2. It was really easy to use and hadn’t any issues such as bugs or glitches.

        If Nothing os 3 comes out, I would like to add some new apps with some widgets as well.

        1. Mp3 app: It would be awesome if there was a music player app with Nothing’s own theme design. Can you make it possible to that you can also change the music (meta)data?
        2. Step count app for exercising. Once Nothing’s own Smartwatch comes out of the market, it would be great if it would have a step counter app that shows your puls and steps.

        These are my ideas for the upcoming nothing os 3.

          coz stock apps really suck. I think everyone is waiting for this.

          hopefully people will vote it and we will get to see these very soon.

            Issues shared via a discussion on nothing.community are unlikely to be seen by the relevant teams in good time. Discussions can still be used to validate/confirm bugs are repeatable and to discuss ideas, but feedback should still be submitted as requested above.

            I would also recommend that if you want to discuss these ideas, you elaborate more on how you feel stock apps are limited, and what you would hope to see in a Nothing app that could improve them.

              For almost 8 years, I was using same company phone model with different versions (don’t want to take Company name) as their User Interface was cool with many in-house apps but because of the bloatware in their phones in recent years, I had to choose Nothing Phone for various reasons like Aesthetics, Personality and bit of Fun with Glyph. It took me so hard to come out of my earlier Phone model.

              Here are few major apps would like to see in NOS (Just want to avoid using Google apps as the related apps are not user friendly. User has to apply many clicks to perform one simple task like delete a photo).

              1. Gallery app for
                • Easy navigation of photos
                • Albums creation with options like Collage, Clips creation, Video Editor, Grouping photos based on faces etc..
                • Photo editing options like Crop, Flip, Photo Frame size (1:1, 4:3, 16:9 etc..)
                • Marking photos as Favourite
                • Brightness, Contrast adjustments, text addition etc..
              2. File Manager with root functions also (/system, /data…) and other options like Deep clean, Private files, clear presentation of storage data (Total size, Images size, Video size, Audio size etc..), Sort and List view options.
              3. Camera app with more AI features (for Photos and Videos)
              4. Recorder app with few extra features like
                • Segregation of Calls, Apps, Recorder etc..
                • After recording, there should be an option to Mark the recordings in between so that user can listen the audio from the time Mark was set.
                • Options to select forward, backward time frame. Now it’s 10s. Should have an option to choose 3 or 5 secs.
              5. Screen Recorder app with options to choose Resolution, Orientation, Frame rate etc..
              6. Note app to note down important thoughts or other personal info
              7. Calculator app with few extra features like Currency conversion, Investment related, Loan, Age, BMI, Length, Speed, Temperature etc..

              Main reason for above such list is to avoid installing 3rd party apps because of Security reasons and Ads.

              Though few of the apps are available in Nothing OS, they lack basic power-user features.

              On top of it, would love to see lots and lots of AI integration in Nothing OS especially for Camera (Photos and Videos). This is where today market is attracting customers.

              Google Keep Notes is pretty good if you ask me.

                Yeah i would like them to add a gallery app with some ai features, and camera app with more features

                But i would not want them to focus on building these new apps like file managers,recorder app, notes app , calculator app beacuse there are already very good apps available.

                Nothing being a very new company. They should focus improving things that needs improvement like camera, haptic feedback implementation, more features in the ui and also fix issues

                I would add one more improvement. The customization of the nothing interface is incredible but the call screen is really boring and sad, some other brands are doing very interesting things about it.

                  We already have all. They shouldn’t spend R&D budget on making apps that Google already does.

                  I have been using Phone(2) from last one month with no issues and everything is super. I feel something missing for some of minor things which Nothing Team has to take care to make Phone(2) more special and intresting.

                  I am using third party apps for Photos and Music. I know we have Google Photos and Youtube Music Player.

                  But, End of the day it will be not InHouse Apps which are expecting from Nothing

                  The main reason of getting Nothing Phone(2), because of its distinguish OS that keeps company unique in market.

                  I believe Nothing may look into this and will release InHouse Apps without leaving minor things too.

                    Nothing wrong with the stock Android/Google apps.

                    As a tweet from Carl suggest… He asked for feature people would want in a gallery app. So it’s probably on the pipe
