pravyp R_WasikChowdhury Try calling the Nothing customer care. When I received my 2a, I was confused with the “India SIM” reference on the box and called up the toll free number to check. I did not want to open the box till I was sure that I could use it outside India as I have a non India SIM too. The customer care rep assured me that the Indian SIM was only needed for activation and it had to be done in India. But if I face any issues later I could call the toll free number and they would unlock the device.

Derren NKF_AQxnSyTvQY Considering that the model you’re likely to have will be the international variant, i don’t see why this would be an issue. Best thing to do if you’re unsure is to check that all the bands are supported by your carrier. This discussion is more to do with highlighting the extra activation required when buying an India SIM only variant of the phone.

SALIHKM I purchase phone from India and my friend took it for me to UAE. Now when I turned on, it’s showing to put indian sim. I have tried my Indian sim. But still its not working. What can I do?
arpan2308 SALIHKM indian p2 and p2a units require first setup in India using an Indian sim. Then it can be used anywhere with any sim
