Anonymous User_sAXQvzkCC6 https://nothing.community/d/5167 Link to that discussion which was merged. And does your phone get warm while charging?
Anonymous TejasMaisuriya i too didn’t felt it before but after January it’s heating. I use a Samsung 25w pd charger .
LohithLohi Yes my nothing 2 also heating and while playing bgmi frame dropping, not like that flagship I very disappointed carl and not expected this
User_sAXQvzkCC6 Anonymous My phone doesn’t get hot when charging, but it gets very hot when I use it. It gets very hot when I’m not playing games. This is not normal. They should release new versions in time to solve these problems. It’s a pity that Nothing ignores us at all. Because we have lost our value
Anonymous I don’t want 45 w fast charging as it will heat the phone up more ( mostly) so i bought the samsung one ,but i don’t think it’s the issue with the adaptor
VishwasK My phone heats up too..but only when I play BGMI(PUBG) even at lower graphic settings and point to note is that I am at an environment where the temperature is always 30+ degree C. Gaming is not that good … and these heating issue started 2-3 weeks ago…
Anonymous Yeah , mine too is getting hot which is a bit abnormal they should fix it. I don’t know but my phone heats while charging too , anyone else using Samsung 25 w pd charger for phone 2?, Is it normal to get to 40°C while charging?
User_sAXQvzkCC6 Anonymous I use vivo’s 45W charger. It doesn’t get hot when charging, but it does when using it.
Anonymous User_sAXQvzkCC6 okay thankyou for informing. I think people are facing such issues i thought i was only the one.
Vikas Anonymous yeah it heats a lot. Also in normal uses it is heating too much. I bought mine around 25days ago and it is disappointing to see it heating and camera is not good. I think all youtubers are getting paid by nothing for making those comparison videoes. Phone performance is good but heating affect hands as I use phone without cover
Anonymous Vikas What’s the ambient temperature around you as you use your phone without a case there shouldn’t be much heating, i use it with a case so dissipation is not that good . And yeah i think thermals of the phone should be fixed lot of people are complaining about such issues. I didn’t had such issues back when i bought it.
VivekBhagat Vikas i’ve completely opposite experience bought mine 2 weeks ago upgraded from iphone 11 heating i’ve faced none and camera is comparable to iphone 11 so no issues here
Anonymous @Derren Sorry to mention you but lot of people are facing heating issues , thermal management is not that good for phone 2 for now , kindly inform the software team about it , so they fix it with the upcoming update. And i wanna know that is it normal for the phone to get 40°C while charging ( i use a 25w adaptor from Samsung) Still it heats up.
