      • Boyce0 I don’t think you ever need to buy another phone tbh now when u got ur hands on the 2a. I’m really really happy with my CMF phone one and my ear (open), no chance in hell imma need to switch to another device. But it’s fun to encourage other people buying their phones and gadgets and let more people getting to know the brand. I love expanding the knowledge of nothing

      • Firstly, welcome to the Nothing Community!

Secondly, thank you for a lovely write-up with your experience of your switch. It was fun to read about your journey and how you found the brand.

Glad to hear the Glyphs are helping you with your screen time. I also enjoy the attention to mindfulness that Nothing’s phones allow, I always place my phone screen down.

As someone who owns a MacBook Pro and an iPad, I know the benefits of keeping one hand in the Apple garden wall. But I wouldn’t trade my Android life for iOS again.

Boyce0 Welcome to the community - really enjoyed this read. I made the full time leap from iOS to Android with Phone (1) after flirting with the idea for awhile, I’ve loved it ever since… for me it was the in-hand familiarity of the Nothing Phone that kept me engaged but, over time the software matured, became more familiar to me and became enjoyable too.

You also unlocked the forced U2 album memory - those were the days!

Welcome to the community! And thanks for such a great introduction and write-up of your journey 🙂 Always nice to hear from those that have made the “big” switch from iOS to Android to help show others how relatively simple it can be! And also nice to meet another Ear (open) fan - I use mine daily now! It sounds like we actually have a lot of similar devices which is cool 👀

Hope to see you around the community! If you’re a Discord user, be sure to join Nothing’s official Discord server too 😄

            • Today we’re delighted to announce that Phone (3a) Series will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset, the perfect match for elite performance.

Designed to embody Nothing’s signature identity, NOS 3.0 introduces new features and enhancements that elevate the user experience while paving the way for more customisable and shareable interactions.

This update offers new ways to stay connected, allowing interaction with friends and family via Shared Widgets* displayed on the newly designed, fully customisable lock screen. Enhanced productivity widgets like the new Countdown Widget** allow users to stay on track, while the AI-powered Smart Drawer enables you to automatically categorise apps into folders, for more efficient organisation and access.

NOS 3.0 features additional enhancements including:

                  • Improved Quick Settings

                  • Enhanced Pop-up view

NOS 3.0 is rolling out to Phone (2) and Phone (2a), staggered throughout the end of the year. This will be followed by Phone (1), Phone (2a) Plus and CMF Phone 1 at the beginning of 2025.

                  • Hi Team, in this time of big screen and big phone and AI with an aim to add much processing power we have lost the need of a compact phone that just works for daily uses. I am sure that there are many who just want a compact phone which fits in our palm and smooth UI experience and with enough battery to last a day. Most of the company ended the mini phones. I am reaching out to ‘Nothing’ because I believe the company is not just about making a phone who has everything and can do everything better but to actually build a product which is needed by millions. So I was hoping if the company can give a thought on mini phones in today’s market where none is there. “ A little phone which has smooth UI, a good chip with AI integration only on battery efficient not on gimmicks.”

                  • To every folks complaining about Phone (2) set for November release even if it is a flagship… I have one too and I don’t feel like being abandoned by the company. Do you guys know that Phone (2) has much more specific hardware than the Phone (2a)? Just think: the Glyphs on the back are much more complex than those of the Phone (2a). Stop complaining and enjoy a company that could among the first to upgrade you to Android 15 - remember: Google will upgrade its Pixels on Oct. 15th. Let’s see what other manfacturers will do.

                    • I use iphone 13 mini. And I fell in love with the Nothing phone 1. If only it was more compact. You have to make a Nothing phone 1, but the size of the iPhone 13 mini would be luxurious. The main thing is that there is a fingerprint in the display. I miss that on the iPhone.
