So everything works perfectly for me and I’m very satisfied
MontyPython These seem like good data, let’s hope that this beta is made with a lot of love, care and tact for the company’s mobiles. Now all that remains is to finish this period with the launch of NP1, who knows if this roadmap will be followed or we will have to wait until Christmas week. It seems that he is behaving well anyway, anything informs…
Nice I like how Nothing is speeding up, 3 days 3 new things if things go this way it’s just too good.
- First day - CMF Beta 1
- Second day - Nothing Gallery (Early Access) on Playstore
- Third day - Phone(2a) Plus Beta 1
Its like Open AI 12 days series
, everyday new thing comes.
I am liking this, if things go this way then Tommorow Phone(1) users will get the Beta Update.
Nicee loving Nothing Team. Even though I am NP(2) user
Hope nothing os 3 beta also come this week for 2a+

I have a lot of ideas on what this can be but the most prominent one is the Noting Ear (Open) obviously because of the articles and discussions on it and it being registered on the TRDA Website just recently (on 3rd September 2024), but I would be really excited if we get a retro piece of tech such as a phonograph or a cable telephone or any other iteration of an audio device such as the OG Sony Walkman. Realistically though, I would go for either the Nothing Ear Open or maybe a headphone or even a speaker. Surely it’s an audio device.
Besides it may also be a projector with a large speaker at the end of it but its very unlikely. My best bet is that its probably a size lesser than that of a smartphone considering the macro shot and the size of the components.
I also tried to piece together an image of the product as the top and bottom are more visible in the twitter post although it wasn’t that helpful. I’ve attached the image below.
That’s my take, I would love to keep up with the community with this and learn about their findings.
Coming soon.
A new world of possibilities.

A good starting place is to compare specs at GSMArena.com. There are already reviews of the (2a) Plus elsewhere on the world wide web.
Neither the phone (2) or (2a) suit my needs, but the (2a) Plus does and at a good price. Essentially, if you can live without wireless charging go for the (2a) Plus (subject to regional pricing), but the choice is yours.

I am a cell phone enthusiast myself and understand your question very well. I know that feeling when you can’t wait to see the latest products in action. I bought the NP2 last year when it was launched and, like the Phone 1, it’s a perfectly balanced phone that can last another year without any problems. To get the feel of a new phone, I would recommend a factory reset so that all unnecessary data is erased and the phone feels like it did on day one. So stay with your Phone 1 and wait for the major upgrade with Phone 3 next year

You seem content with the phone (1), so what do any of those other phones offer you that you can’t live without for another 12 months or less? You would notice and benefit from a more significant upgrade if you can wait for the phone (3). Perhaps invest the money you could spend on a new phone today and be better off this time next year. Or if money is no concern and you can find a use for your current phone so that it doesn’t go to landfill, then why not treat yourself?
I’m in a similar position with my phone. I want a better camera, bigger storage, and something more compact for easier one-handed use, but I really don’t want to to spend hundreds of pounds for those reasons alone, and also sacrifice other aspects like fast charging.
I have the Phone (1) and don’t need anything more, it’s perfect for me. The Phone (1) will still get Android 15, possibly more so at least a year more. If you are looking for a big upgrade and can’t wait, i would buy the Phone (2). If you can wait a year more, i would get the Phone (3). Upgrading after 3 years is what i would recommend.
