I didn’t install the update because there are many reports of battery draining fast. I will stuck with version 2.6 for now
Waiting for s more battery friendly update. The best OS was when i bought the phone, it ran so smooth. Every update ruined this amazing phone a litte bit more.
So, now because I had the nothing phone 2, I was supposed to get nos 3.0 rolled out in the first part, but surprisingly I still do not have the update, while the second part of the stable releases already began, so the fact that I bought the flagship phone did not have any effect on me. 
Sorry if I am being rude or even if it’s something that is on me and not your fault.
Why do Nothing promise too many features, but when the OS update 3.0 is released, some features are still missing? Is it a joke to call it a stable version when some apps are in early access and some features are still in beta? Is it fair to call this a stable release? I saw Carl’s tweet on Twitter: ‘Ideas are worthless; execution is everything.’ I noticed this with the OS update 3.0.

Yes, currently there’s a delay of a week, but this post is from 17 days ago, is what I’m referring to. Even back then they were talking about delay.
I’m sure we all agree that an official communication from the Nothing team about the update would be greatly appreciated. However, in this post there have been many people who DO NOT KNOW about the bimonthly update cycle, and they were already talking about ‘update delayed’ when not even a month and a half had passed after the previous update, just because the Phone (2a) is getting the normal consecutive initial updates after launch, as usually happens with any new product.
That makes me think that many people do not inform themselves about what they buy before paying, and then they demand things never promised from the brands (Nothing or any other).
TejasMaisuriya For real, I don’t mind the delays, but they should at least communicate with us what’s going on behind the scenes and not just complete silence, its getting overshadowed by the 2a community edition
SrsThewrongguy Indeed… First time using Nothing, and I really like the OS, so I would hate to be forced to leave because of the exact same reason I decided to leave OnePlus behind. I’m not to worried about updates, 2a is getting the honeymoon treatment all newly launched phones get, but it’ll fall under the normal update frequency in a while too.
Please minimise the shutter lag and portrait mode performance in various lighting conditions. Atleast fix the shutter lag
