TeeEeeBee that’s what I am saying. There won’t be any further updates like Android 17, but those until 3.9 should be there to cover fixes and offer newer features. Security monthly patches are different from the same though both will come together.

I guess it will receive updates until os 4 is not released. The software is still buggy and the camera is worst. Logically, all updates until 3.9 should be there. It would be sad if they stop it now without resolving the issues. Moreover, I won’t recommend anyone buying it’s products either.

AayushMondal no point mentioning this, the camera experience wouldn’t ever be improved. I have tried saying this multiple times to the mods and Carl, but no one listens.

Anonymous371 from India, not sure what firmware version it is. But Nothing is really not worried about fixing the camera and the OS is bumpy for different users. Some get reboots, some don’t. Some have better camera ,some don’t. Meanwhile Carl is not bothered.

Sorry to mention the term ‘fanboy’, I started the nonsense and it has snowballed.

Maybe it’s got something to do with how some users suffer from frequent reboots on their phones after an update while others’ phones do not get such an issues. Even if they both have followed the same steps like formatting etc.

This is why camera issues persists.

Anonymous371 I do it as well, but there is something in the camera that just won’t set itself right. Hence a request for camera update that’s perhaps never coming around.

Stefan I usually run into fanboys, and I wasn’t exactly “begging” for a camera update. The OS isn’t somehow equivalent as there are bugs despite being on the same version. My phone’s camera isnt as sharp as it was earlier and 2.5 update has made it worse.

It’s funny when nothing sells it’s 3a and pro phones for their camera, while phone 1 users have been asking for a camera update for two years now. Smh

Fr4nKB I have tried this on my phone and it is not working. It was all fine until it was 2.6 but upgrading to 3.0 has made the app useless.

If it is a bug, it’s ok because it can be resolved. But if it is a marketing ploy to make people buy nothing chargers (that cost Rs. 2300 apiece), it is perhaps the worst possible ploy. Hope better sense prevails in this company.

Sxthxs the camera will never be resolved, everytime I raise this issue, some idiot nothing fanboy comes and starts defending the company by saying that it is a small company, no one gives update for older models etc.

Well, if a small company can mess up a phone’s camera, they can also fix it. What has their size got to do with it?

It is so ridiculous that people keep asking for battery and camera improvements. They are not coming ever, I have understood this and so should you.

You haven’t fixed the camera of NP1 from OS 2.5 and you’re talking of launching 3.0. What could possibly be funnier?
