JayanthKarra There;s some good ones in THIS REDDIT POST
Remember, especially with a manufacturer for a product like a phone, the development cost for components in a handset can be massive, especially when the costs of testing for approvals worldwide mount up as sometimes a manufacturer can’t lean on ’well the UK have approved it, surely that’s ok for South America?'. If Nothing take on the development costs for a new chipset or a new camera or whatever then we’re not getting £3xx handsets at the store, we’re getting the same handset except for £5xx or £6xx or whatever. Budget devices have to contain compromises and, as already mentioned in posts in this thread, it’s how they’re integrated and then supported by the OS and software development that can make (or kill*) the experience. We get what we pay for as consumers, but right now what i’ve paid for (the Blue 3a) is pretty damn good.
*I’m looking at you OneUI lol, the experience killer.
LuigiMilanese Hi Luigi, speaking personally i pre-ordered on the launch (and wanted the 12GB/256GB variant so the blue was a no-brainer for me as i’m not a big camera user so didn’t feel the Pro was worth the extra money). Feeling a little lucky now that it appears to be out of stock tbh (sorry not sorry ahem) but, having used it for 36 hours, i can say the phone is so much more than just the case colour and i’m sure you’ll soon forget about the colour if you buy the white or black.

Derren Hiya, no problem thank you, i’ll have to get to work prioritising my apps (feels a little counter-intuitive to use the phone more when part of the ethos is to use it less but i get your point
)
ETA: Oh just to add to this btw, would i be right in thinking i can’t remove apps from the smart folder? My main app in Social (for example) is the phone, but obviously this is on the home page so i don’t feel the need to have it in the Social folder….. no can do?
Hi all, as per title, am I able to re-order apps in the smart folder* please? If I grab an app in the folder the default action is to home screen but id like to see my most accessed apps in easy reach in the folder. Any suggestions please?
*I appreciate it’s a beta, if it’s not possible I’ll happily register a suggestion to add an edit to the smart folder

HaciucAdrian Hi Adrian, the phone was ordered on March 3rd so first deliveries were promised March 11th and it arrived March 11th
. Pre-orders are probably a different sequence to ‘live’ orders (as they will be now) and i don’t know about their stock levels.
Also thanks to SamarthNP1 & Ali Fakhruddin for the warm welcomes, much appreciated

I bought an Anker Nano II 65w and it’s been spot on for quick charging, 50% to 95% in about half an hour, highly recommended
i think the main thing to bear in mind here is that the essentials button might be baked in for AI, it’s the primary function for that button and it’s a standout feature of the device. I must admit, if i was the dev team (which i aren’t) i’d die on the hill of that button retaining its primary function and growing on the functionality rather than opening it up to be a ‘whatever’ button.
yeah i got my blue today too (thanks team!!), spent all day tinkering with it (turned the screen time guide off lol) and am blown away by the slickness, it feels so natural to use (coming from Samsung A-series) really impressed!
