Hi all! my name is Rangga

This is my design for Nothing Phone (2a) Community Edition: Tribute to Dieter Rams.

The ideas is to make a tribute for my design hero, Dieter Rams. One of he most influential Industrial Designer in 20th century. popular as an industrial designer for Braun, Vitsoe, etc.

Dieter Rams design ethos was very clearly codified by himself in “10 principles for good design”:

1. Good design is innovative

2. Good design makes a product useful

3. Good design is aesthetic

4. Good design makes a product understandable

5. Good design is unobtrusive

6. Good design is honest

7. Good design is long-lasting

8. Good design is thorough down to the last detail

9. Good design is environmentally friendly

10. Good design is as little design as possible

The inspiration for this design is came from the details in products that Dieter Rams created. like the buttons, knob, speaker grill, graphic, color scheme etc.

This is the tribute for his hard work, consistency and attention to details. And also i think his vision for industrial design resonates with Nothing as a brand very well.
