Navigation Pill - I hate this thing at the bottom of my screen and it also isn’t like the IOS pill which covers the app entirely, instead it lays on a weird black bar!

Another Font - Roboto as the default font looks way too horrendous. Google Sans(Bold) is my favourite font and while I don’t expect that font, something bold and curvy is also enough.

Pitch Black/AMOLED Black UI - The grey UI is very sickening and there must be an option to enable Pitch Black UI. It would save enormous battery and won’t look bad like the grey.

If anyone wants a great gallery use Aves Gallery and set the refresh rate to HIGH. It’ll be the smoothest experience.

WojciechKwiecien Indeed it is not acceptable. All I’m trying to say is to follow the workaround until Nothing fixes the issue. I’m not sure if this is SW or HW issue. At least one can avoid plug/unplug of cable which can damage longevity of the charging ports. It is just my recommendation to everyone who is facing the issue. Nothing should look into this matter seriously and solve the issue ASAP (as long as it is not a HW issue or limitation). We have to wait…

Can anyone tell me when nothing phone 3 will be launched ?

Hi Team, I have been noticing for last few days that the charging time increased immensely. At the beginning it used to take around 55 min to full charge now all of a sudden it’s taking more than Hours…Not sure why..

Recently I have bought a new Nothing Phone 2A. The phone is amazing, and smooth in every aspect.

But the issue I am facing is while playing the video in 4k 60 fps on YouTube, the frames of videos are dropping.

I hope Nothing will look into it and solve this issue. But if there is anything that I can do to solve this issue please help.

Phone 2a after using it for almost 3week

FYI I was beta tester at xda for very prominent devices

I felt that this chip has been underclocked or os is not that optimised to use full potential of the chip

Gaming performance as per chip is trash fps drops to 30

While on iqoo with same chip gives almost constant 60fps

Advantage of underclocking is good battery performance and less heating

But what’s the use of u can’t utilise the processor

Really disappointed with the gaming performance

No custom rom development coz of media tech chips

I recently bought phone 2a and i would like to share my experience using it and give some suggetions to nothing team if they are listening and willing to improve user experience.

Pros - aesthetics and in hand feel

Nothing os, widgets, b&w icons

Cons - camera picture processing delay after taking picture.

Volume and power button wobble, which is not a good feeling using an out of the box new phone.

P.s the wobble is noted by a youtuber ranjit as well.so i guess it is same in all units.

Very very Slow charging speed with cmf gan charger as well.it takes forever to charge the 2a. Gan charger feels useless and i feel cheated for buying such expensive charger.

Battery life can be improved, i get 5-6 hour maximum sot with any type of usage pattern, which is not so great considering 5000 mah battery.

I was using oneplus 7 before this device since 4-5 years, nothing os is good but it misses small things which are convenient as a user for ex: phone vibrate when opposite party picks up the call.

*Can improve with software update points:

1. Charging speed
2. Phone call vibration
3. Battery life
4. Dedicated payment solution as one ui offers samsung pay
5. Camera picture processing time after taking a picture
6. Overall smoothness and stability

• Phone starts getting warm even in the normal usage

• low charging+ idle battery drain issue(nothing must resolve this issue as soon as possible)

• App opening & Closing animation something lagg

• Very very slow photo processing speed (since starting)

Life Sequence As far as I know, it’s the matter of the phone’s ISP (Image Signal Processor) and post-processing algorithm. Gallery app only shows the present images and doesn’t do anything when processing captured images. There’s noticeable delay after capturing photo in different apps (snapchat, instagram, kakaotalk etc..) too.

ManishPatidar Making own Gallery Application resolve the processing time of Image that’s what I think but shutter speed need some time to resolve through software update

Nothing claims back cover is uv resistant

Means color of the case not going to change but it becomes yellowish within 15 days

I wanted to know if there was the possibility of saving the home screen settings via nothing or other (location of applications, colors, folders..) like on Samsung or Xiaomi.

because every time I reset my NP1, I have to put everything back and it takes time.

Just install a different dialer app such as Right Dialer and set it as your default dialer when prompted. And I have to say I completely understand why you’d want to do that. The stock Android dialer is the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen.
