I had to make an account after watching these many people who cannot do 5 minutes of research and start complaining about how flag ships have better display than their budget phone. Seriously, have you ever thought about, that maybe, just maybe, it is a stylistic/intentional choice? Ever thought about why it’s only on native UIs like fingerprint authentication and the notifications/quick settings background (only while locked)? So far people have only shared pictures of these two. “Smart Pixels” is a feature in some AMOLED phones that turns off a certain portion of pixels to conserve battery life. This is what causes the “tint issue” and “black not black” while the brightness is low. Agreed, they should’ve mentioned it somewhere or allowed us to disable it, so that you all can post “phone 2a battery blunder too bad sir” next.
My bad if this sounds rude, it is. I felt like I had to vent out after seeing these naive people cause trouble to the customer services for no good reason.
