Fr4nKB yeah, it show some message (Ss attached below). I haven’t tried clearing vache though, will give it a shot.

After using the app for a while I found some things that could maybe be added:

1: Sharing of Ringtones, but I imagine this being quite hard on the storage side, because it would mean you need to store all of them.
2: Detect music playing (probably trough the Android Music Player), and if a name matching sound is saved, it uses that light sequence.

Aidam7 you can still fork v1 and contribute to it

RedSkul×HYDRA let me know, this issue is caused by Chaquopy not being optimized for Android 15 and after all my workarounds I found out that clearing cache or app data does the trick

Interlastic first one would be copyright infringement and I cannot build it inside my app, the current solution is @Spike ’s archive

The second one would just be really hard for the aforementioned reasons

      Fr4nKB

What is the tune used as example in Glyph Studio.

Could please provide the same file.

      Thank you.

Fr4nKB It would be great if we could play the battery charged alarms and stuff muted, so they don’t make a sound

It would also be delightful if Glyphify would follow the system setting for Glyphs being turned on or off

Hey 👋 👋 I’m getting some difficulty I selecting how the notification works for contacts messageing on WhatsApp

It’s sometimes works sometimes doesn’t mostly because I forgot with the settings

But I have to give glyph notification for WhatsApp on for all and then go to glyphfy and select the contact in essential notification right

          This should do it right?

Can you add the ability to the app to detect who writes a WhatsApp message, and if a specific person messages you, to turn on the light?

Hey everyone, Happy New Year! 🎉

Today, I’m thrilled to announce the release of Glyphify v2.5 which focused mainly on Glyphify Studio.

Glyphify Studio is a portable DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) which allows you to create Glyph ringtones with an array of improved features in v2.5:

              • Audio waveforms
              • Interactable keyframes via gestures
              • Built-in effects like volume matching, progression, and regression
              • Subzone addressing
              • Real-time preview with playback speed adjustments
              • Save and modify your creations
              • Create ringtones for devices different from the one you’re using

Here’s a short video showcasing all these features:

I also wanted to thank @Rob ⚡️ and the content team for the shout-out in the last Nothing video of 2024. I really appreciated it! ❤

Aidam7 battery alarms on mute might be interesting, following system settings might not be possible but I’ll try to get more information about that

pixcel25 it depends on what you want to achieve, if you are asking about how to have an extential for a single chat on whatsapp then that’s not possible. The only way is to map the contact to a glyph zone, in that way the glyph will turn on for any notification from that contact, independently from the app

Asnka so you would like the app to only turn on a glyph for a specific contact and a specific app?

Fr4nKB I talked about group chats in wp :/

Asnka I see, I’ll look into that as I don’t know if it’s possible

The application took a long time to install. It was written about an error.. But then it installed. It is working fine now. However, it does not update and shows an error again.

I don’t have that much experience with android development but I believe that applications can fetch the system settings

Fr4nKB The gliphify studio should have a bit of space on the left (when camera cutout is facing the left), because with the rounded screen it’s horrible at the edges.

                  Edit:

Also realized you can’t edit files made with glyph studio… Made me lose all my progress.

Could you save the light data in a separate .json file or something like that?

Edit2: If you add the in edit 1 mentioned feature, add Auto-saving please. Because when going from pop-up window to normal app view, the studio resets, and I lost 37 Minutes of work. But it’s fine. Also could you maybe have a toggle in the settings to add the greenish-yellowish tint on the visualizer in the studio?

But overall the changed to the studio are great, BUT the beat suggestions were removed…

Sorry for this long message, hope you can take this as good feedback.

                    Interlastic

                    • The full screen is on purpose, so it’s easier to navigate keyframes
                    • You can indeed save, reload the file and have all your work again. If this is not working for you then you might have encountered a bug that I’m not aware of.
                    • Glyphify Studio doesn’t reset anymore when exiting the app, apparently it does with pop-up so I’ll have a look at it again
                    • Auto saving is something that I though of, I didn’t have the time to implement it. Will come in the future.
                    • Why the green/yellow tint? Why would you need that? I’m asking nicely even though it comes out as aggressive😅
                    • Suggestions were removed because they are not that useful compared to audio waveforms
