There’s a few things I can think of at the moment:

  • I like the fact that you can press the “reply badge” and see the whole comment that is being replied to, but I think it would be better if the replies were located directly under the comments which are being replied to; maybe indented as well like on Reddit. It just makes conversations much easier to not only read but to continue as well.
  • Make the message box persistent at the bottom of the page so we don’t have to scroll through all the comments to add to the conversation.
  • An app would be great as we could get notifications and would just make it easier for people to participate I think.
I love the depth of formatting options we have for comments, feels like a full on text editor

Always good to hear feedback and work on improving the product wherever makes sense and innovative.

A community app would be a quick win for getting feedback from community members.

Overall I think Nothing made a good decision in entering to Fashion, as it wil reach border public and creates brand image .

Natalie ✨ Heyy Good day! Cheers to everyone reading this 🙂
Firstly, for starters, there could perhaps be a bot of sorts that could clear out the FAQ’s or the basics of how the community works.

Secondly, the entire nothing community site could perhaps be redone, pardon me if I’m being a little mean but trust me I love the company and I dont mean to be rude at all, but the site for a simple user could be a little confusing of sorts, perhaps could be curated or beautified a little bit, like for example, the latest activity section could be simplified as in could be divided into topics rather than users (due to the cluttered look from my pov).

Thirdly, there could be sort of competetions like maybe, sharing the best photo with nothing device or best setup on the phone etc, within the community for higher involvement of users, whether in a particular forum or in general. It would be super exciting for everyone!

Fourth, This maybe a bit far stretched but perhaps, community in regional language? Have a seperate site or a subdivision of regional language forums? Just a thought I had because there are a lot of people who arent very comfortable with english.

Fifth, Maybe add a tab that shows insights and like a graph/tab or like a pie chart as to which forum has the highest involvement. Would be cool to see a graphic animation to see the most involved forum

Sixth, Dark theme on the site please :")

Seventh, Assigning badges/medals to most communicating person on the forum or like a nothing badge to the nothing team.

Allright I think thats going to be long enough, hope I didnt bore ya’ll.
    THANKS!
    NOTHING ❤️

Natalie ✨ I’d love to see feedback from team to reported issues, like “We’ll keep an eye on this” or “Scheduled for fix”. This would give massive impact on community engagement.

    And, a dark theme.

I haven’t been around these parts for very long, but one thing i’d like to see implemented here some kind of reward system (not that we actually needed to receive gifts or such).

I remember at some of the other websites/communities webmasters implemented a simple thing as karma points, they could be positive karma points or negative karma points. That way the moderators, admins & members themselves could more easily see if a member was abiding by the rules of the forum or not; their memberships would also change accordingly, they’d have different feedback scores and with that all members could earn some sort of reputation. Their were different tiers for that.

Also a fun to thing to add might be different mood setting, i mean we are still human beings and we all experience different moods - each member could select these fairly easy on their profile page or even while posting in a section.

One more thing (i can’t remember if it is already implemented here) ; profile visits, i’d like to see who visits mine.

The last thing, i have been using tapatalk for quite some time and i actually like it, can i find this community on the Tapatalk app as well?

Natalie ✨ loved the overall community nothing fans are becoming more active in the community as the days passed…i would love to see an nothing community app as it is more convenient to get notification and everything ..i like to see dedicated sections for each product on the top bar rather than in the discussion in the middle of the page like i shown in the screenshot and a separate division for official updates from the admins and want to see the posts or highlighted posts whenever i open community website rather the seeing divisions of the discussion in the homepage like i mentioned want to see the individual product sections and threads and top bar and i would love to see the badges section 1month 6month and year streak daily login points tasks in community which provides point which we can use in various redemption for merchandise like that

Nothing Community is a good platform to interact with the consumers and get the feed back directly.

I have a few suggestions for nothing community:

    1. Product Support Forums: Create dedicated sections for users to ask questions and receive help related to Nothing’s phones and earbuds. This can include troubleshooting, FAQs, and user-generated solutions.

    2. User Reviews and Ratings: Allow customers to submit reviews and ratings for products they’ve purchased. This can help build trust and provide valuable insights to potential buyers.

    3. Feature Requests: Implement a section where users can suggest new features or improvements for Nothing’s products. This can serve as a valuable source of feedback for product development.

    4. Knowledge Base: Build an extensive knowledge base with articles and guides on how to use and optimize Nothing devices, helping users make the most of their products.

    5. Exclusive Content: Provide early access to product announcements, software updates, or exclusive content to community members, fostering a sense of belonging and loyalty.

    6. Community Events: Organize virtual events, webinars, or Q&A sessions with the company’s founders or tech experts to engage with the community and address their questions directly.

    7. Gamification: Implement a points or badge system to reward active community members for their participation and contributions, encouraging engagement.

    8. Beta Testing Programs: Recruit community members for beta testing new products or software updates, allowing them to have a direct impact on product development.

    9. User-Generated Content: Encourage users to share their experiences, tips, and creative content related to Nothing’s products, such as photos, videos, or customization ideas.

    10. Mobile App Integration: Develop a mobile app for the community platform to enhance user accessibility and engagement on smartphones.

These features can help foster a thriving and engaged community around Nothing’s products, providing a platform for customers to connect, share, and receive support while also benefiting the company through valuable user feedback and insights.

I think that there should be a badges ,point system for members who actively participate or contribute valuable content and allow members to create and participate in polls to gather opinions and feedback

    Natalie ✨

thats a great way to start re-building the community.

imo, i hope this doesnt turn out to be a social media website like facebook. except for a chat option with online users alone. ( with permission from the other end).

I like the way how simple the community website is now. A community app exclusive for Nothing phones will be great. with notifications on, we can keep track of things going on in the community.

Maybe introduce a few roles like the old time (investor roles was a thing ), for those who contribute more to the community with their ideas.

thats all i can think of right now. will edit if I come up with something else.

Huge fan of Nothing and it’s community. Here is my feedback for it -

    1. A mobile application would be great. Like a Nothing Community app. Makes it easier to access posts for users on the mobile platform.
    2. A little more customisable profiles for the users. Like a cover page or badges to denote which Nothing devices they own.
    3. A widget for the community app which can show the most recent post from Nothing or the trending posts.
    4. Easily accessible tabs for the threads like Phone(1), Phone(2), Newsroom etc.

      Natalie ✨

      Natalie ✨

Please category the section more easily to understand.

The reply ↩️ and interaction section is quite boring and not engaging please improve The UI

And please introduce some rewards 💰 /points like system on every like 👍 and post ✉️ .

Which can be redeemable on voucher and products.

And wish for brighter 🔆 Future

      Title: Smaller In-Palm Compact Phone

Brief: The features with which Nothing is leapfrogging is remarkable. Resonating with the tone Nothing sets, of being unique in its space with its features and design, I would love to see a Nothing Phone which is smaller, compact - which just fits right in your palm. Something like iPhoneSE.

Reason: Most, if not all, android phones now are getting big big and bigger by size, it loses the essence of “phone” and is moving towards tablet. I’m a die-hard android fan, but there are no flagship options for small phones anymore in android space. Hence, a game-changing option for Nothing to pick up!

      Natalie ✨
Hello there, I already made a thread on the forum regarding something that bother me a bit in the forum, so I guess it’s the time to past it there again.

The welcome page is well organized and we really understand the demarcation between categories, for example: “Nothing Phone Series”, with 3 categories in it -> Nothing OS, Phone (1), phone (2). This is perfect.

When we click on the “Nothing OS” subcategory, you enter this category directly but there is no title bar to confirm that. Ok it’s written on the right side… but we should have a title about all the threads.
And it becomes completely unclear when we select the core category “Nothing Phone Series”.
what is it’s purpose? regroup all the threads from all those 3 categories ? If yes we should be able to sort with a filter all the threads are being able to see that we are in the main categories and that we could enter the sub ones.

As an example, the Vivaldi forum is well known to be a GREAT forum (https://forum.vivaldi.net/). Subcategories are listed as nothing under the main category, but when we click on it. We don’t see all the threads as it’s done with Nothing, but we see a developed view of all the subcategories, and UNDER all of those subcategories, all the threads mixed up. And this is much more understandable from a user standpoint.

Aside from that, the forum is good enough as it is. There is no need to have group chats, or any chatting at all because the discord is there for it ! It should still be a place where we can ask for help, post construcitve feedbacks, etc…

      Good day guys.
      Rémi

It would be fantastic if, along with the section concerning suggestions for new software functions, a page were created where Nothing indicates whether and which requests it has accepted and is developing. In my opinion, it would help communication with users by providing continuous feedback on the most interesting and useful requests and would help reduce the number of duplicates in this section.

Hi Nat, thanks for this. I like that you guys are actively looking at how to improve this platform and listen to the community.

      So:

      1. App or better mobile form
      2. We can have a banner that will show if we have any discounts on the Nothing store, or maybe updates on availability
      3. Another banner would be nice with the graph of NOS updates, the one that was made by Chris(I believe)

The Community portal here is very good, better than Discord at least for me. Howewer, I would appreciate one thing: Having an opportunity to report discussed topics/issues directly to the Nothing Support team. I have a feeling that the core of reporting issues gets lost throughout the process between a user, the Support team and the R&D team, in the end.

      • I think that very fruitful discussions are lead here by many users, and very often there is an understanding of Community Manager (Rob) and moderators (e.g., Luis) and often there is also a solution, or at least an idea for a solution, found.
      • But then, when reporting the issue to the Support team, I get that things get lost, or are explained differently and there is rarely any feedback whether there will or will not be a resolution.
      • Community feature request and bud reporting portal, something like Prodcamp, would be nice, to track the progress of a reported issue, knowing it reached R&D or other teams.

I think that generally you do a lot of great work, but keeping users in the dark when they provide feedback or when they report an issue is IMHO not the luckiest solution.

An application for this would be pretty neat.I would like to see more responses to the comments by the nothing team

Really nice idea and some absolutely killer prizes are up for grabs!

Some of the things I’d like to see have already been mentioned, like showing ‘Active Users’ or ‘Badge’ style systems. I think it would also be nice if you could have some more direct links/buttons at the top of the page that link to nothing.tech, making it joined up to the rest of Nothing pages.

It would also be nice to have some sort of weekly feature, which other forums I’ve been part of have featured. Not suggesting this is something you start doing immediately but as fans of the company we all like to hear about all the behind the scenes stuff, which is what I loved so much about your recent vlog style videos - please keep doing these! Maybe this could be bi-weekly or a monthly update from your community manager sort of thing?

As for the future Community Platform, I believe the UI should be somewhat similar to the existing forum for reliability and familiarity. If I’m suddenly presented with a completely new UI then the link and relationship is a bit confusing and lost. I guess if it becomes some sort of mobile app, it would be really nice to have widgets in Nothing’s style that either show the latest feeds, feeds you select or having the option to immediately start a new post.
