Hey everyone! 🌟 Wishing all a Happy 2025 ahead! Let’s use this as the megathread for the wishlist for the upcoming year. This thread is all about suggesting cool new features, fixes, and improvements for Nothing OS as we move beyond version 3.0. The Nothing team has been super receptive and open to user feedback, so this is our chance to make our voices heard.

Some points to note though:

This thread is not for reporting bugs related to respective models.
Scroll through first to avoid reposting the same suggestion that has already been posted.
Keep it constructive and meaningful so that everyone can resonate with your views.
If you feel connected with a suggestion, feel free to like or react to it to kind of upvote it, thus showing the team how much a particular feature is wanted by the users.

Spike Please bring back the Ndot font. It was one of the major reasons why i purchased this phone.

Am currently using nos 3.0 beta on cmf phone 1. I would want:

Always on display for the phone. It currently can only keep the display on for like a few seconds. I would not know if it is something technical, but the screen is amoled, so i do not see anything wrong with adding aod.
A better implementation of the ndot font(in the experimental settings) across the ui(other than the notification bar, that font can be kept the same, the previous ndot implementation was ugly.)
More nothing apps to replace google apps(stuff like dialer).
Some implementation of Private spaces on nothing launcher.

Spike I really like Nothing OS 3.0, but I wish there was one more feature. I wish there was a native automation feature like Samsung Routines. I usually used location-based automation for home - work - driving - work, but Nothing OS doesn’t have this feature, which is a bit disappointing. Do you think this feature will be added someday? 😄

Ability to change icons size.

For now, all icons are reduced version of the original ones :

I wish to be able to allow some icons to keep original format for specifics applications. Still be in black and white, but in original size.

Imagine the elegance of Nothing taking inspiration from iPhone to introduce a seamless voicemail feature for missed calls. A personalized touch where callers can leave their messages directly—bridging gaps when calls go unanswered. It’s time to elevate the communication experience for Nothing users. What are your thoughts?

Bimalprjena this feature is really great but I’ve heard a few iPhone user complaint about these voicemails taking up the storage space, so if somehow Nothing can figure out to bypass this problem then surely we can have it as a cool new feature, for suggestions I’d like to say that this feature should be provided with the ability to turn on and off at will then maybe we can have a better user experience

Faster App opening animations without any lag, Better camera image processing, nothing’s inbuilt AI for all phones, Nothing gallery inbuilt editing features, Nothing Gallery additional AI features, Nothing new Notification animation, more dot animation, Smooth animations, More lockscreen customization, Depth effect is anticipated, customisable status bar, Transparent status bar, Nothing Eco system…. These are all my wishlist for 2025 🙂

I wish they resolve this bug.

I don’t know how this was not solved in Beta. Like it’s literally visible to the naked eye.

Issue:

The “4G”, “4G+”, “5G” and “5G+” text in the status bar remains in the Roboto font, even when the system font is changed to Inter font.

Note: I have tried restarting my device multiple times. I had given feedbacks via Settings as well as on the Nothing Community. Even with the Hotfix Update this was not solved.

As you can see the ‘4’ & ‘5’ are different on network type.

I am really starting to think that NOS 3.0 was forced since there are so many things that are missing, bugs, unfinished, etc.

I think this a fix/improvement Nothing should make. So I don’t see what’s the problem here.

Spike No no like these are the small things that should be tested carefully I feel. There very minute details that should be done carefully I feel and I didn’t expect these kind of things from Nothing.

At present when opened a app in folders and back it every time we need to open that folder again to use another app in the same folder ,

Please make like other UI’S for example Samsung ONE UI and OXYGEN OS,

Nothing OS 3.0👇

Also add some visual representation for folder emojis like reactions when closing folders 🙏
