Either you wait for them to cook to Phone 1, or you upgrade the phone to Phone 2 or 2a.

      Awww updated to NOS 2.6 and just found this… Will there be a revised package (2) or do i have to go thru the whole rollback procedure to 2.5.6?

        MagnusG for this particular beta you’ll need to follow the package information as detailed above, so yes, 2.5.6. Don’t have any info regarding any further betas at the moment.

          Unpopular opinion: Android 15 is a skip worthy upgrade honestly. It doesn’t bring anything new nor does it is fix anything so it just comes to me that this update wouldn’t matter, but we’ll see few people being impatient and then disappointed, just a heads

            You definitely got that right, I’m on Android 15 beta on Pixel 8 Pro and there’s absolutely nothing new.

            The last Android 14 update I got on my Nothing Phone 2 seemed more like a huge Android 15 update full of cool features compared to going from Android 14 to 15 beta on my Pixel.

                AniketShahi The error you’re getting is because you’re running Nothing OS version 2.6 rather than version 2.5.6. The Beta update will only work if you have 2.5.6 installed.

                    RasselHossain The term ‘cook’ is Nothing developer working on the NothingOS update.

                    You asked how to get this, and I answered this is for Nothing Phone 2 and 2a.

                    But, if you insist on trying this Android 15 DP Beta 2, you have 2 options

                    1. Wait Nothing release this Android 15 for Nothing Phone 1 (if not mistaken, this Android version is the last Android upgrade for Nothing Phone 1)
                    2. or, you sell your Nothing Phone 1 and buy Nothing Phone 2 or 2a to try this Android 15 DP Beta 2.
